alright thanks. also, I wondering who I would talk to to possibly get it posted on the web sites main page (if possible).
I need someone to print out the flyers from the Smashn Saturday post and help me hang them up around campus.
Your right about this game Josh, pure perfection. I loved it and am playing through it again, Im trying to get the Altair costume.
I think its pretty obvious who my favorite character is cough*CERVANTES OWNS ALL*cough lol. And as far as guest characters go, I think Link has been the most approriate one so far.
Ok, sorry for not responding for so long, Ive been working ALOT! Anyway, I sort of updated the poster, again any suggestions are acceptable (be as exact about what should be changed and what should replace it).
ok, ill revise it. I still might do the Sign up post thing though just so I can gauge how many people will show and what all I need to bring and have others bring.
Ok, I believe I have a date for the event. The date will be the 23rd and I will promote the club so we will have more people possibly coming to the meetings. I figure Ill give an announcement to the people that show up and promote the club to the best of my abilities (through a greeting speech and maybe fliers handed out) because if we get alot of people to show up to the meetings though the Smash events then more people will come to the LANs, resulting in a much better time.
As a side note, I may try to use this to help me run for Prez or VP since Ill be hosting these events if thats fine.
One more thing, Im definitly gonna need some help getting the fliers/advertisements printed out since I dont have a printer and the fact that Im broke.
Thanks Bitey, Ill definitly take you up on that. Anyone have a general idea of when we should start hanging the advertisments and the actual date of the event?
Quick question, and I know this might sound dumb but what does someone have to do to run for Console Pres./VP and is it Console Specific or is it for all of them?

I do have those two games (well i WILL have SC IV when it comes out) and I do know others on campus that do to, so I will definitly be at the next meeting to push for these two games. Also, what has to happen for someone to be appointed for running a tournament at the LANs cause I would LOVE to run the Brawl tournament. Dont get me wrong though, Shay did a great job, but I would love to do this since Im heading up the Smashn Saturday events.
Yea, i heard about that brawl thing, talked to nintendo and since its having problems with RE4 also, they wont fix it for free since the warrenty is up.
As for the posters, Ill get to it asap, just gonna have to find a copier and some free time from work. Ill post back sooner or later with the finished product. And I hopefully I can get ahold of Kim or another RD soon and start talking to them about it to see about making it a weekly thing.
Honestly, I would love to see a Tekken 5 DR tournament for PS3. Also Soul Calibur IV would be a great idea too, again another great fighting game. Agree with me or not but I believe that we need more fighting games at these LANs and these are two great fighting games.

Also, everyone who wants to do this again next semester just check these forums because Im going to try to make this a weekly thing, Saturday 6:30- whenever. Anyway, I hope everyone had a good time that showed up last night and I hope to see you all and even more people next semester.

The time has been changed to 7 since the cookout will be winding down around that time. Come on by after the cookout and play some Smash!

Yea, and I just found out about the cookout last night so stop flipping out. I would love it if the gaming club would help me but its kind of wierd that a cookout would last from 12am to 12pm. I previously stated that my thing would last well past 6:30, so I dont see why everyone can’t just go to your cookout first then come to my event when they leave the cookout. Everyone is not gong to stay at the cookout till 12pm, so why not tell those people about what Im doing. Hell, if you would do that, Ill move up the time but if not, im sticking with it (Im just trying to have some fun before school lets out). For future reference though, if you guys are willing to help out, Ill definitly talk it out with you.

Well first off, I do believe a Gaming Club is suppose to play games so I do believe the Gaming Club forum is the best place to post gaming events regardless of whether the club is having a cookout or not. I am a member of the gaming club and I repect the fact that the club is having a cookout, but why can’t people do both. I said it will last well past 6:30. If people wanted to hang out at the cookout for a while then come play some Smash, I do not see why they can’t do that. Another thing is the fact that this was a last minute thing by me and some people that are a part of the gaming club, so asking you would be more throuble than its worth. If people want to stay at the cookout till 12am thats fine, but if they want to play games at Central, I dont see what the big deal is.
I would but the cookout reads from 12pm – whatever (8pm), if this winds up like it did last week, we will be playing past 8pm. Plus im not trying to represent the gaming club, this is just a friendly meeting. I mean come on man, do u really think people are gonna stay at a cookout for 8 hours?
