Meeting will be on Thursday January 29th, 7-10 PM, in Illusions, third floor of the UC.
This date will not be changed again under any circumstances.
All positions are up for election so we need everyone to show up, if you are running for a position be ready to tell us why you think you can handle the job and what if anything new that you will bring to the club. The date I currently have for the first LAN is February 28th, 2009, and will be held in the UC Grand Room, if this date is a problem for you then bring your concerns to the meeting and we will attempt to address them there, however as you all know I try my best to find a day that not much else is going on, and I am also limited to chose dates where no other group already has the room, so that being said I hope all of you understand the limits I am under. Also we will need to vote in all the usual things we do for the LAN event, so bring ideas for the games you want to play so we can vote them in and make this another great LAN. I have reserved the room from 7PM-10PM so that I knew we would have enough time, to be honest it is completely up to you guys if we stay in there the whole time, I just reserved it as a buffer so yeah. Finally if you have read this and will be attending the meeting please sign your name, and I look forward to seeing you there!

Also, Kaz-Ka, if you want to nominate MK vs. DCU, it would probably be best to specify which version, just to make sure we have enough copies. I have the 360 version, if it matters.

Well Im definitely gonna nominate Soul Calibur IV since it has almost had a higher turnout than Brawl and since people seem to like to play it. And honestly Ephriam, I’m gonna nominate the PS3 version of MK vs. DC Universe because I know 2 people that have it and thats not counting the fact that I’m also gonna be getting the “uncensored” European version for PS3 soon, but dont take this the wrong way. And as a side note, I think Brenton’s idea about having 2 FPS’s, 2 Fighters, and 2 miscellaneous games isnt a bad idea.

I will try my best to be out of Closer rehearsals by then if not, than I may be a little late or a lot late as it seems… but I will try my best .

Definitely gonna run for re-election for the TF2 CL because I had a lot of fun being able to create my own tournaments (honestly, I think the round robin/double elim worked out pretty well at the last LAN so I might be using that again)
OMG, I am so sorry guys but I need to change the date of the meeting, possibly to Monday, MLK Day, how do you all feel about this, I am sorry but I am in the show Tales of Trickey and we have a performance that night, so uh, yeah I need to change the day, how does MLK day work for everyone?
Its ok with with, I’ll tell everyone that comes to the Multi Purpose Room this Saturday. Does this mean the time of the meeting will change?

For topic suggestion:
If we get any new members to show up,, let them know about http://wcu.collegiatelink.net and if theirs a pc in the room and theirs time get them to sign up b4 they leave. As well as letting them know about our forums. We need new active students, noticed we have not been growing much lately with on campus students. Get the word out, tell your buddy’s, make announcements in class b4 instruction starts, anything helps.

Where is the air support?
Centrals MP room would be great. Its bigger than the MP room in the UC and all I would have to do would be to get an RA to unlock it, which would be easy as hell to do
*edited* if anyone thinks this is a good idea, I need to know now so I can get the room unlocked. Otherwise someone else might get it.
