6pm in the central mp room. its resistance, SC4, definitely Street Fighter 4, and probably some brawl. if you bring a system you can play whatever you want though.
I am 99% certain we will have the GameStop in Waynesville as a sponsor. so how do i get them on the sponsor page and the little sponsor thing on the front page?
Soul Calibur rules:
Best 2 out of 3 matches (3 out of 5 for finals/semi-finals), 3 lives per match, 60 second time limit
First stage is random, first characters are double blind; after the first match, the format is
Loser chooses stage -> Winner chooses character -> Loser chooses character
Custom and Bonus characters are banned, for issues with hitboxes.
Since this is a Duel Platform game, if there is a disagreement on what console to play on, there will be a coin toss. the winner of the toss chooses the console for the first match and the loser of that match chooses the console for the next match, and so on.

It was decided that the Soul Calibur 4 and Street Fighter 4 tournaments at the next LAN will be run upon both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The exact nature of this setup follows:
-If both contestants agree to use a particular platform, that platform will be used.
-If there is a disagreement as to which platform will be used, there will be a coin-toss to decide the platform used for the first round.
-The loser of the coin toss will choose the platform used in the second round.
it was not decided that “-The loser of the coin toss will choose the platform used in the second round.” it was decided that the looser of the first round would choose the platform for the second round, not the looser of the coin toss
I also don’t believe that it was decided that there be $40 cash prizes a $40 prize limit was discussed as well as the possibility of gamestop/walmart gift cards of $40 as prizes
The marketing person was a voted position and by the time they finally got a hold of the guy, and found out that he had done absolutely nothing they barely had any time let alone resources to market adequately. thankfully this time we have someone who is already on the ball and many people eager to put up the ads.
ill go tell the Nexus one time that they are welcome to sponsor us. but they have screwed me over before, so im not going out of my way to advertise for them unless they decide to come through big time.
i went and asked the other day(after you posted) to make sure they had it down(they have screwed up with my fraternaty before) and the guy at the desk said nothing was reserved in illusians at that time
they scewed me over blatantly and never came to a lan. i suggest they get absolutlely no business from us.
wow didnt actually read this till i was waiting for everyone in the UC. please put the meeting time (when it is decided) on the front page. not everyone checks the forums everyday for last minute changes.
well if we have the same interest level in it as last time (4 People lol) i can probably handle it on just my box which is always used for continuous free play anyway. otherwise ill schedule it around everything else.
