I didn’t mean to be offensive nodice if you took it taht way. It’s just taht everyone that has any power at all made no response to the thread and/or any of the ideas given. I still believe the nominations would be the best method.
To be honest, I see this whole thread pointless as of now…it seems as if it was started, but not looked at since. I’m sure you have, but we have no authority on this, just our suggestions. I also know its break. I don’t have internet, I’m laying on my couch right now to get internet…it’s the only way I get reception. so I think this should just be locked until the people with access and power look at this thread.
Quite simply, the map voting ENSURES server traffic. Whereas not having will, in my opinion, highly alter the amount of traffic you have due to MANY people hating GOOD maps, such as cbble, vertigo(not great, but good), the cpl maps, prodigy, and probably a few others. I say keep the voting, change it to nominations, then you can change how often a map is allowed to be played also. I think this would be the best option.
Edit: If this were to be chosen, I think it should be at least 4 OTHER maps before this one can be played again.
Quite simply, de_mediterranean, and maybe a few of the de_52 maps that I recommended in the other thread. I would have to send you the map personally(de_mediterranean) just due to the fact that fpsbanana didn’t have it, and I can’t upload it onto the forums. Well……I like every de_52 map they have, there are like 15, lol. They don’t have the map de_mediterranean, and thats by far the best map I’ve EVER played. ever….I’ll attach it. Okay, nevermind. I can’t upload a file with that extension….so I can’t upload a cs map. Wonderful. Would appreciate it if .bsp would be allowed

to be honest, I think they should both be regular servers, as you could tell, the 1.6 server generates the most traffic, and if you have the overflow diverted to that server, BUT let them know they were transferred, you would be on the ball I think. Just my two cents. Hey, does this treasure trooper thing really work???? I’m broke as hell, and can’t seem to find a job. lol
smoke grenades is a personal thing for every computer. as long as people don’t spam them, the servers fine. I love them as decoys, they’re perfect. and no, they aren’t action figures, they’re barbies, I agree with v. and I do believe that ds’s avatar is a neopet if I’m correct…lol I used to do that in 10th grade
yeah, I agree with the cam here completely. except for the autosnipes being retarded. they’re great for spamming
In my opinion I don’t see many people using awp’s on the 1.6 server, don’t know about the source server.well, like I had said I think in another post, or maybe someone else did, this is the real maps server, granted a few fun maps would be nice, but a few other new maps would be good too.

I believe some new maps would be in order also. I just don’t think those would change anything, dust2002, I feel is just like the other dusts, they get boring. I have a couple maps, that are de_ not cs_, that I feel everyone could like. I used to play on a server called dssg, wayyyyyy back when, and they put these maps into the normal rotation. They had a voting system also, and these started to be the ones that were voted for. I can only remember the names of a few, but I can definitely look them up. One is de_mediterranean, de_52leon(there are multiple de_52maps, all of which were put into rotation). I would prefer less cs maps than anything, I hate having to be on the losing team, because all those people….all they do is bait, lol. I actually decided to look them up now. de_52mangana, de_52andulasia, de_52spania, and de_52puente, along with the one I gave earlier, de_52leon. Oh, another intresting one, may be the other aztec maps, like aztec2/3, much more evenly sided.
p.s. could someone pass me the IP for the custom server
I agree here, I just was looking for the right thread
, finally found it. but it is getting worse by the day in my opinion. Like I read in the other thread, just switch to admin mod if you have to, I mean we can switch whoever we like and such then. Maybe even have someone who programs try to make ptb compatible for adminmod. It’s worth a try right?
