Hey guys, Ive been playing on the server for a little bit now considering its the only server I dont lag on and I got to thinking about how long I have been playing this game. Ive played CS off and on sence beta which is like sevenish years I think and was just wondering how long other people have been playing for.
ive been playing roughly 5-6 years. What leagues/tournys have you played in? Ive been to CPL (when it was the old CPL) in texas in 2004 for the summer tournament plus CALm and CALp (back in the day when it was decent)
Maybe like six months. But I’ve been playing on the GoldSource engine since 1999, and I have physical proof
Sadly I never went anywhere with my skills, at my peak I could have been cal-im but I never had the chance no big deal, really the only reason I still playing CS is because its the only game that I can run without lagging to crap. My schools network is garbage
i’v been playing for a while. i call it “practice” so i play once in a while but now like every day so i dont reall know who much i play.
I’ve been playing for 4-5 years now, started off with 1.4 and was hooked from the start. As far as leagues go and such I’ve participated in CAL from O to M during 1.4 and 1.5, then never really cared too much once 1.6 and Source rolled around. I never participated in CAL for 1.6 but I gave it a go in Source and didn’t care too much for the way things were handled and such. I haven’t given Cevo or other leagues a try though but I’ve heard Cevo is great.
I miss 1.5, never did like 1.6 as soon as it was released I actually quit for awhile because of how bad it was/is

I dont care what anyone says 1 was the bomb. I remember 1.02 .. 1.03.. 1.04 (end of WON !) 1.5 (On steam which officially ruined cs) 1.6 which fixed 1.5 bugs made its own new ones and added ad’s bleh In the end WON gaming service was much better I loved to see 20 ppl playing with the same steamID hehe
Lol I remember when WON id’s would be down and all the crazy nerds would be geeking out on forums about when they would be back up so they could get their CS fix.

the servers will be up soon enuff they needed to do some work on them and it takes time … and about won ids lol i have been playing sence beta 3 i know all about steams and valves troubles i think its funny
I’ve been playing CS since 1.2 retail. I still have my old 1.2 CS disk too.. I miss that wonid though.

PS.- if anyone talks to sooted, ask him what parts of chapter 24 are going to be on the economics quiz.
i played it for a couple of minutes and decided i hate it lol….but i do play it at the lans…but i dont like it lol
played about a month of source last summer, played a couple times over the next semester, and have been playing steady since january.
