Riddle me this… Why in the hades am I getting kicked for ping to high… never NEVER have I gotten that and I’m still up at school all that jazz yadda yadda.. happened so I couldn’t join the game then it happened once I joined the game!?
Why don’t we have what we had before this nonsense started?
Liam has diabled the high ping kicker until he can fix it. Since there’s usually an admin on it shouldn’t be a major problem.
$0.02 – for debugging this write up a function to log the numbers and calculations for which it’s kicking, that writes it to either a text file (or the current admin activity dump
) when it does kickthen we can compare things and see what’s going on…
i do this all the time when i’m coding, makes the problems stand out much more
i alsways come in at 300ping and it droped me to 20 within 60 seconds.,, just that first round really sucks..
It’s probably because you are loading your game while connecting so the server thinks it’s a pause in
communication of information thus it turns into high ping and kicks? I don’t know these electronic hi-tech
complicated crap involved but yeah… my theory >_>

I wouldn’t suggest going under a 75 cmdrate tbh.
I actually followed this lil guideline and it dropped my ping on net_graph from 89 to 66. making itself similar to what’s shown on the scoreboard.
