One quick thought about the active/regular population stipulation. Would the server just know who these people are and adjust the number needed for a successful vote (i.e. the number needed to reach 75% or whatever)?I voted yes on all. Mute imo is really useful to have, the kick, is there going to be a short ban time attached to it? like a kick and a ban for 10 minutes. If so, how long is the ban option for? If there is a 10-20 min ban time added to kick then i don’t think we need the ban option.
I think only regulars should be able to start a vote, however anyone can then add their vote. How would a server decide if you’re a regular? Base it off points. I am a horrible player, but playing enough i can rack up some points. If the server took the top 50 or 100, who are generally regulars and have the server’s best interests at heart and allowed only them to start a vote. Or the other way you could do it is anyone is able to start a vote, but those in the top 100 are not required to have the 75%, maybe closer to 50% if you’re in the top 100.
I don’t think this system will get used too much because of the near constant prescience of admins. But during those rare times there are none on and there is an issue, it would be nice to solve it.

Why don’t you do it on time played in server overall.

SpectatorI don’t think anyone here has ever played on a server with the type of votekick we had in mind. Either that or you aren’t paying attention.
Yes the kick will have a tempban as well. Minimum 10 minutes but it could go as high as 15-20.
The tempban would be for at least 12 hours to allow for admins to look through the logs and determine if it needs to be further investigated or increased.
The system that is being proposed is NOT like the BF2/2142/CoD4 system where someone says votekick and then nominates someone to be publicly voted on. The system being proposed works just like the current RTV and 3/4 of the server would have to type votekick and then pick the player from the menu.
