Spectator45nm quad has been out for a while:

If you want an AFFORDABLE chip, well you’ll have to take that up with Kuros. He’s the only one here who sits at his comp and counts down the minutes until it’s released.

Corsair XMS2 RAM comes with really good warranty support from Corsair. It’s also really cheap now with low timings of 4-4-4-12. Check out Newegg. I’ve sold so many of these things for them that I should be getting a commission check.I’m running some ValueSelect ram, i believe that’s from corsair… has the same timings, and hasn’t ever been disappointing. I’ve run a linux LiveCD purely in ram before and things opened like *that*. their fancy XMS2 line should thus be omg great.

SpectatorLinux live CDs run great from SD ram.

Spectatorhokay so they released the q9300 and the estimated release date for the q9450 on newegg is around april 21st
March 26, 2008 at 2:36 pm #40676Falcon
Spectatorthat’s the only real memory test i’m familiar with, that would show the ram itself off, is how livecd’s do…

SpectatorI’ve heard that the q9300 is BARELY any faster than the q6600… seems to me you should have just gotten that one instead of waiting *congratulates MasterP*

My advice is so often ignored
Getting all worked up over the 45nm chip is about retarded considering Intel is less than a year away from releasing a new socket. Anything bought now is going to be outdated the same day as the q6600.
