i got it when it was on sale for $5 on steam and haven’t installed it myself also. so not quite as long as you,, but say a good handful of months lol
However i did plan on playing it when I moved and had no Internets, idk about my moving plans anytime soon :/
I just got the huntsman myself, first kill was a headshot. HAX?
only got to play with it for like 2minutes, looking forward to playing with it some more. First impression was it was hella nice to beable to see around you, aka not looking through a little peephole tunnel hole vision
It would be a like a 60-100KB model that needs to be DL’ed,, prob so fast that knowone would even notice it. Maps that are way larger are near instant on our dedicated fast download server. But thanks for the concerns, yeah if it does take along time to dl, i would take the plugin offline.
I just have no clue how to make a spray from like a jpg in the HL2 engine. Could prob figure it out, but figured id ask to see if anyone was bored and wants to help out.
Also it randomly locked people out of using their upgrades, and alot of people left this afternoon around 2:30-3. Needed a restart and it fixed everything, and ppl came back. Maybe the same thing happened last night?
Glad Valve does not just discard their old games. Granted it was probably unpaid interns whom fixed these bugs, I’m just glad they still got looked at. Most Company’s would not even bother. Props to Valve.

I don’t wont to run off the community we do have (1.6, css) by lagging there servers.
l4d and tf2 can cuddle cpu powa GOOD idea. tf2 and l4d games dont require much “aiming” per say

I was told “hearsay” that you dont unlock the items. They are given to random people, and when they die they fall on the ground so you can pick them up. Sorta solves 2 problems, people will prob not spam the two classes so much. Once they find out its random, they will play the class they like best, Second, Valve is tired of ppl going on achievement servers and farming unlockables,, but idk if this way is better. I don’t really play sniper or spy all too much, so prob wont affect me one way or another.
As far as the new game style Payload Race. What do yall think of this? I played off and on last night, unfortunate it happen to be the same 2 stages when i played. So looking forward to the rest of the map. Really looking forward to playing it in a week or so when all the sniper/spy/pyro classes aren’t being used. As a first impression i like it and had fun, but idk how it’ll be down the line once the initial hype excitement wears off. but so far so good.

As far as server update:
As soon as i get the 2 new maps downloaded, I’ll update the server with only the 2 new (non-arena) maps in the mapcycle for about a week. Hopefully we will be one of the first few servers to get the maps up and get a draw to the server.
