This question is worthy of a double post:Why did you, as a republican, watch his speech?
Better yet, why didnt you watch it? As an American, you should watch the president speak, no matter what party you are on, because he decisions are probably going to effect you.

Most of the wild claims he’s referring to either were in the bills or still are. According to Obama, as a republican, it is your job to lay down and take any change that he and the democrats want to push out on the American people. If you have a legitimate concern, you may voice it, but it will be ignored.Obama brought up ideas to use in the new bill by republicans, even an idea from the guy I voted for, McCain. I dont really think hes making any republicans “take it like a man” and deal with the new bill.
Ill push hard for a 24/7 Dust2 1.6 server…
Look at the top servers in the US and/or the world….most of them are 24/7 D2 servers.
If that doesnt bring more people to the club/forums/community/etc…..then i dont know

Can we all agree that resources should be shifted into making a separate 24/7 dust2 server? (if they are available)
This is a possibility, btw
Doesnt matter what you make the rotation, no one will be happy. You will get a select few who love it, but most everyone complains.
The rotation nickname came up with works pretty well.

Because Ive received complaints from several people that some of the CS servers are losing people because of the map selection. If we give them the power to change it for the better, it might bolster our population on the servers. And you guys thought I didnt care about the PC side
PM me the people who complained….
sure..ill go ahead and give all the admins the ability to change maps at will

As of last night, they do (at the descression of what the PC VP says). And I already told him that they could. I mean hell, why not, especially if it is hurting the server? It has admin abuse written all over it
I would like to add that admins do not have the ability to change maps. They have the ability to vote for maps according to the rules and guidelines that are already in place
Alright now that elections are over, we will begin the process of the semester changes. One thing I am going to do is implement new abilities for admins. I will be working throughout the day to get everything finished.
I will also be posting a *proposed* mapcycle later for discussion.
Thanks everyone!
Things to be done: 9/3/2009
1. Map Rotation for Fall semester
2. Updating of Admin and General Rules
3. New admin recruitment and removal of inactive admins
4. Admin “rights/access” update
