OMFG….. i was on WCU this morning playing and *edited*…. i get off to eat for like 1hour get back on and Steam says im ban for cheating!!!! I Never hacked/ cheated or anything…. what do i do?!!! ARG how da fck did this happen i dont get it…. I didnt pay $40 for a game to get ban off it…. i wouledent even wanna hack.. should i email Steam… i cant return the game cuz my 30 days is over….

You try to restart steam? As in, shut it totally down and back on? Otherwise you can try contacting steam but dont expect much luck. In any case, CS:S is only $9.95 now.

Valve does not unban anyone for any reason and will not tell you why or when you were banned. Valve says there aren’t any false-positive but there have been quite a few people banned for using 3rd party drivers (eg Omega Drivers).

as a side not, vac doesent ban ppl that run hacks the same day,l, they like for as many people to DL them as possable and log everyone and ban tehm all at once. this way the baniees can go to hack fourms and said its not vac proof anymore… and it doesent matter what server you “or your friend” hacked on. o_0
