I have been looking a lot into what can we do to make server side installations easy for the upcoming execs. In the past we have just installed, setup and configured everything by ourselves and now that were moving to Linux I thought I needed something easier for people to use in the future for installing games. Installing games is the most difficult thing about being an administrator of the gaming club.
So here is my possible solution. http://www.gamecreate.com/
They even have a demo on there so that you can play around with it and see how easy it is to use. The only downside is the open connection from our servers, to theirs for the updates. I actually think they install the updates for us. That could be a plus, but it is a security issue.
It’s free for 2 licenses and I think it is a great option for us, and doesn’t seem like a difficult task to setup.
And don’t worry about game support. Look at their site. It has everything.
Im always open for more suggestion.
