yes he was WALKING forward. with an awp in scope. idk but when you hear the beep beep beep beep beep sound that means the bomb is gonna blow soon?
he even took some shots in pit before moving. regardless of kit…i think there was a 1% win chance.
and there were only 2 cts. 2!!

I don’t care who it is someone wants to bash admins will first be warned muted kicked temped . I do not allow It because if new people were able to see the rules with out having to loading a site there would end up being less of this stuff .
If you think a admin is wrong in some way then make a post but DO NOT START BASHING ADMINS FROM THIS CLUB.
You have no idea of the people these admin have had to deal with everyday we have 2 sets of rules as admin.
And we are under constant badgering from others the admins from wcugaming servers represent the club and as such must abide by all rules even tho at times its look down upon by others .
I refer you to rule 7 of the server rules http://www.wcugaming.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10760 he had a choice he made the wrong one if he saw the bomb being planted he could have tried but wanted to save his weapon . And as such gave the admin the right to slay .
Trust me when i say hes not the first person that has been slayed for not at least trying .
And im pretty sure hes not going to be the last .
I can tell you haven’t got to read the rules or this wouldn’t have came up you would have known the admin had the right to slay for not completing his objectives or at least that attempted .
Thank you ex. This thread has gotten out of hand so lets bring it back to the problem. Rattlesnake was not the first nor the last to be slayed for not doing objective and again if he isint atleast TRYING to do it then yes a feel a slay was the proper action. As admins we really should not have to keep warning regulars of the rules and we were actually told not to and that if the same people keep breaking the rules start banning them. If you feel there is admin abuse please report it in the proper section or send a pm to one of the cls and let them take care of it.
All I got from that is you took my post seriously.
I know the server rules (assuming Source is the same as 1.6), I don’t agree with them all, but I enforced them before I lost admin. I know what admins have to deal with. Again when I had admin, I banned a guy for cheating and a LOT of people got on my back about it saying I abused admin blah blah blah, until Liam himself said he cheated and let the ban stay. I know what admins do, I’ve been an admin on a few servers in the past.
If people are blatantly just not trying for it, they should be slayed, I AGREE. But theres a huge difference between not trying and playing smart. I’ll admit, I didn’t see the round (obviously), he might have deserved the slay, but everyone who saves their guns aren’t doing it just to get an extra kill to make their score better.
To wrap this up, I know the rules, admins can slay for this, yes, but is it really necessary? In cases when people are camping just to camp, slay away, but when they’re PLAYING COUNTER-STRIKE 1.6 OR SOURCE THE RIGHT WAY LOL WHY WOULD YOU SLAY
As I understand it lockem and I was not there but as it was told to me he just sat in pit not even trying to do it. He had an awp it would have been really easy to move up and pick em off right at the corner to cover short. Going that way gives you a clear shot of just about every place up there side from behind the boxes or above the pots in the back but again he should have been able to pick em off from there still if he played smart.

And as i said before. All opinions should be heeded. You can weigh Lockem’s low as he doesn’t frequent the CSS server, but you can still listen for ideas he has on how admins should behave, or the fact that he is apart of this community. If citan came into the 1.6 section and told the 1.6 admins not to do votemaps when the server is half full I would listen, even though he doesn’t play on 1.6. Same thing should apply here.
You start this “Not the Same Game” bull*edited* you will divide the club instead of create a community.

lockEM was a great admin. The only reason he’s not admin NOW is due to a disagreement with a certain somebody….whom lets just say alot of us haven’t a kind word to say about him….and who also *edited*ed it up for alot of the people participating in the club. Lay the *edited* off. You’re in no position to be telling anybody to GTFO. Talk like that makes people like you expendable. Remember that.

I will have to come in and support me some Citan. Citan has been donating time and effort to the club for a very long time. If you were reading (which i know canadians can’t) he said it was in real estate… kinda hard to show monetary sum for land outside el paso. His e-peen will always be bigger than yours Derrick and I really think singling out someone like this is uncalled for. The CSS server is boring, the admins for the most part are a joke and all I see is sm_says flying around like *edited*ing Canadian Geese in Raleigh. I think you all suck.
The 1.6 admins are just as bad if not worse.

I gotta say, I agree here. Most of the admins who showed up after I left are a *edited*in joke.
There are a few 1.6 admins who are pretty terrible.

I have a bunch of RL friends who play/played CS, we always joke around and call each other terrible and garbage. When I call someone horrible, its most likely a joke. I didn’t mean for this to turn into a *edited* storm, but what can ya do.

I’m really disappointed in this thread. It is complete trash. I talked to rip the other night and he was telling me about admins abusing (without any specific names) and I told him to make a thread. I never thought it would cause people to cut each other down like that. I’m really surprised that people would resort to personal insults whether you are serious or not.
I don’t care why lock ’em lost his admin, but he really shouldn’t post here and start arguments with admins if he doesn’t play on the server.
I really don’t know what the case was because I wasn’t there. I never see any type of abuse like this when I am on. I think if there is a problem here it is with the interpretation of the rules.
This could have been settled a lot better. Club members, past execs, and admins need to treat each other with more respect. Especially, in the public forums… you should know that by now.
I have read most of this thread and I have agreed with Citan. Over the past couple of weeks regs have been breaking the rules far more frequently than they should have.
As an admin, I find it hard to warn them time after time about this behavior to people who I know already know better since they have played here frequently. I’m sorry, but if you’re a reg, I hold you to a higher standard than the random pubber who comes in and plays. You know the rules, and you know I have to enforce them.
Saying this, we are not perfect and do make mistakes. Bottom line, give us a break and follow the rules.

If they can’t follow rules give them the good ol 10080 minute ban. That drills it into their domes a little better. Warning doesn’t do anything to someone who thinks they are above the rules.

If an admin is abusing, tell me who and when and I’ll deal with it. Otherwise there’s not a whole lot I can do. I’m not going to do a blanket search in the logs for abuse, I don’t have the time right now and to be honest it’s selfish to even ask.
tldr: PM who abused and when they did and I’ll take care of it.
