We are currently on a search for devoted new admins for our Team Fortress 2 server! If you are interested in being a server admin, please read below.
Requirements:
– Familiarity with Team Fortress 2
– YOU own a copy of Team Fortress 2 (so you are available to play!)
– You are willing to become a part of our WCU Gaming Club community, will become an active member of the forums and/or idle our IRC channel, #wcugaming.
– You will use good judgment in the server, obey and be familiar with server rules, and enforce them. See the general population rules for CSS here (they are essentially the same): http://www.wcugaming.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=8324
– You will stay active onthe Team fortress 2 server.

If you already meet the general server admin requirements, you will be granted full admin to the server. If you only meet the requirements above, you will be given a provisional admin position until you meet the general requirements. As a provisional admin, you will be able to start votes, mute, kick, and ban players, as permitted by the server rules. As a provisional admin, you will be held to a “1 strike, you’re out” rule if you abuse your privileges.

Just a note:
Because of how the admin app is coded, if you are interested in being a TF2 Admin, please create a thread in TF2 Discussion stating such.
Make sure that you include your Name, SteamID, and the reason WHY you would make a good addition to the Game Server Admins community.

I checked the admin app and I see that TF2 is now listed in the drop down menu along with CS, CSS, and CoD4. Is it still necessary to create a thread in the TF2 forum or can we just apply using the admin app?
yes go ahead and use the admin application, the rules are a little less strict regarding TF2 applications.

this needs updated it isnt current as we only have 1 tf2 server
well of course the time on the server is less but could possibly go up as we get it populated. The # of forum posts i’m still debating whether or not I should include it at this point.
i suggest posting everything in here instead of just putting up links. i think it just looks better that way. like all the requirements.

ok updated. The reason I linked to that is because I posted in this thread the requirements for this server; the link is to the general requirements for the other servers.
