WCU server (Counter Strike: Sauce)

After the reset of the stats, it feels like you guys changed the config on the server… it seems now that im restricted to cl_interp 0.020 and cl_cmdrate “100.000000”

 

now before the reset i ran with the settings suggested here on the website, and they were awesome, no choke what so ever. But now its 2-50 choke and it happens frequently, especially when someone is moving or getting close to me… worst thing is if im spraying, the choke gets up to 30…..

 

now i had ex with me a whole day working on getting rid of my chokes, so in the end i ended up with a new autoexec config.. made by Ex and Lemm… now, that showed a very stable flat green line that represent if im getting choke or not… well no chokes for a whole day it showed… well, when i “accidently” turned on net_graph 3 instead of 1, it showed i was getting alot of chokes, and when i ran thru the settings on console, it showed that cl_interp and cmdrate was overruled by the server…. so hey.. please look into it.

I get 50+ choke when I play, and that is constant.

All I did was reset stats, I made no changes to the rate restriction or enforcement system.

 

That being said, why would a cmdrate of 100 be causing you problems? It’s what the server is running.

I know, but it irritates me that it keep reseting it to 100.00000 and just wont let it be at 101 (even thought that wont make much of a difference)

 

but my problem is that the cl_interp will not be 0.010 on your server, thats the thing that killed 90% of the choke on your server for me…

well I picked that reset day as a reference point because before I had no problem, but after my default config would default everytime i logged on your server and seperate autoexec would have no power when connecting to WCU…

The interp is weird because it should be .01

 

I’ll check out the restrictions and see what the deal is.

I’m actually seeing very little choke with those that have an interp of .02+

 

Is there anything else that might be causing you problems?

well i dont know what else causing me trouble, but when I used to connect to your server with

 

cl_cmdrate "101"
cl_interp "0.01"
cl_interpolate "1"
cl_lagcomp_errorcheck "0"		
cl_lagcompensation "1"
cl_smooth "1"
cl_updaterate "101"
rate "30000"

 

and then I would have no choke what so ever. I added these lines directly into the config.cfg and that would stay like that…

 

but when you reseted the stats on the server, suddenly I could not run with those configs, my config defaulted to

 

cl_updaterate "101 \par"
cl_cmdrate "100.000000"

 

but what ever configs I play on your server is just refused… I was playing with Lemm’s config…. yeah the one with *edited*ty everything graphics in exchange for fps and less choke… however i still got choke with his…
