Whats it about?Basically, you’re a hacker that works for the Uplink Corporation and you get jobs to do.
For instance, one of the missions is “Delete key files from a rival’s server”
You get a couple of programs (just like a script kiddie and you can buy more as you do more work) and you attempt to hack into servers and follow the objective.
If you are successful in your missions, you get paid; if you get caught, you either lose your job or get a hefty.
In order to be successful you have to “jump” or “hop” through different servers (like proxies), otherwise you get screwed over fast.
Pretty much if you’re into the hacker lingo/culture, this is a game for you
