Can’t make it today, I just got back from rehearsal and I have too much to do today, I am also, thanks to snow, currently stuck at Rabbit Ridge, don’t worry, there is not much to do for this LAN as most prizes have already been collected, although a few more would be nice, I will reschedule ASAP. Thanks for your patience guys and thinking on your feet about using Central room for meeting, but I just can’t do it today.
wow didnt actually read this till i was waiting for everyone in the UC. please put the meeting time (when it is decided) on the front page. not everyone checks the forums everyday for last minute changes.

It should be put on the front page. And please do not re-schedule it for Saturday or Sunday because me, NEBS, EYCE, and MOLE are going to App. to play in the Smash LAN.
I ran into a few people at the Cat’s Den who were *edited*ed because they thought the meeting was now at the Central MP Room and actually showed up. We should have had the meeting already and need to hurry up. For that matter, we need to start advertising the meetings. We are one of the only clubs I know of that barely ever puts up fliers for meetings. Early each semester, we should advertise the first meeting. That’s how you get new members.

My god… people seriously I had other obligations and had to reschedule, then I never could get in touch with Jill to reschedule for Monday, this is not all my fault, when I could not get it done I asked Chris too and he got the same stuff I did and could not get in touch with Jill. The meeting was scheduled within plenty of time to print out flyers if the original meeting time were still there, the problem comes in because I am busy AS I SAID I WOULD BE FROM THE BEGINNING. Really upsetting that all you guys can do is get upset when one little things goes wrong, don’t worry I will get a time set soon and if someone wants to print out flyers then go freaking print them out, I shouldn’t have to tell you to do that, talk to our current marketing admin, this is not a one man show, I expected all of you to do your part, and while some of you have others just sit around twiddling your fingers expecting us to do everything.

If I HAD printed flyers we would have had a bunch of people show up and no meeting. Yeah, that would have been productive. If someone else wants to print out some flyers I will help put them out but I am not using all my paper to print flyers (I have printed over 300 flyers for this club so far and I dont want to use any more toner)

Yeah, that would have been productive.Then what needs to happen is we should get meeting dates set in stone long before the actual date. Then we will have time to print out some basic fliers with dates that are not subject to change. Really, we only need to do it once a semester to get some new faces at the meetings.
Sounds fine to me about the meeting having to be re-scheduled, I understand. But if getting a room is hard just message me or something and I can about 95% of the time get it, no problem or questions asked. Just let me know ahead of time and I can get the ok from Kim. Central’s Multipurpose Room has more than enough room, it has a projector and 2 white boards. Its perfect.
The only reason bitey had to re-schedule the first meeting was because he got his dates mixed up, accidentally.. that could happen to anyone, and sadly we both could not get out of our prier obligations seeing as the first meeting was scheduled on a performance night for us. And as for the second meeting .. even if we were able to get the room we wouldn’t have been able to come because currently all cars at central are basically blocked in especially the ones on the hill which coincidentally is where Bitey is parked.

the only major concern i have about central is the parking situation there for the people who are off campus
Oi. Sometimes I wonder if I wasted my time here.
Anyways, you know, just general club fliers advertising that we exist would be a better idea. As far as meeting stuff goes, we need to have one fairly soon, whenever Bitey can make time and secure a location for it. Otherwise, more chaos will ensue since we’re already going down that route since 1 meeting got canceled. We need to hold another round of elections and we need to decide the game line-ups for the LAN and if we’re actually going to pursue any of the other ten ideas we’ve had. Mainly, I’m interested in the last two, as it will determine if indeed I truly have wasted my time here.

The problem is not the fact that to secure a room is difficult the hard part was Jill was always in meetings and between me and Chris we couldn’t get in touch with her.

I have no intention on running. I ran the show on the console side for long enough and especially with the opposition I had, I got tired of it. However, I still try to do my part in pushing for what I think needs to be done. I’m busy with graduate work and a master’s thesis. And with the recent history of the club, I’m debating whether I still need to invest my time here. Depends on how the meeting goes, I suppose.
Oh ok man, I understand. If I’m elected, I’m all ears for anything about the Xbox 360 that you have to say.
Consoles should be fine. We’ve got enough level-headed leaders in that department that know what needs to be done and generally agree on how things should be done.
It’s the rest of the club I’m concerned with.
Ok. I’m wondering though who will be running for Pres. of the club after the big wigs of the club leave. Its gonna be a big change of pace to say the least. Speaking of, will we be deciding at the next meeting who will be taking Bitey’s spot next semester?

Well all positions should be up for election, including President. I’m curious to see who will step up to the call. I know talk of me and Nickname running for President popped up at some point, but I’m only here for this semester. Plus I don’t want to have to deal with all the drama that position has to deal with sometimes. We’ll see how it goes at the meeting.

And no I don’t cause hardly any of that drama.
The executive meeting the other day about decided a good way to go through this and pass the leadership to the “next generation”. I’m not sure how much Bitey wants to reveal so I’ll go no further.
I will say that Kaz-ka’s name came up.
I’m honestly considering a run for Console VP. Looks like this meeting is going to be rather…
