I have this eMac that I got from surplus sale, fixed it all up, and even though I really like it, it is taking up too much of my desk so I am going to try and get rid of it.
Specs:
1.42ghz PowerPC G4
512MB DDR RAM (1 slot open)
30GB IDE Hard Drive (I will upgrade it to a 120GB for $30 more)
ATI Radeon 9600 w/ 64MB Video Memory
Superdrive DVD/CD Burner (writes at up to 8x DVD-R, up to 24x CD-R)
Airport Extreme Wireless (Wireless B/G)
Built-in Bluetooth
Built-in USB 2.0 and 2 Firewire ports
Built-in 18-watt stereo speakers
Built-in microphone
External VGA port
OS-X Tiger 10.4.11
Microsoft Office 2004
17″ CRT Screen with max res of 1280*960
Apple keyboard and mouse
STILL UNDER WARRANTY thru September 1, 2008
This thing really does run very well. I use it for web surfing (with Firefox, I hate Safari!) and Office stuff. I have also played the demo of Penny-Arcade’s game On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness as well as Blizzard’s Warcraft 3 And both played very well on the system; it has a surprisingly good amount of graphics power.
The case of the machine does have some scratches on it but they don’t affect use at all.
I have looked on ebay for pricing and based on that I am looking for $150 OBO. I will post pictures at a later time.
I have heatware.com and ebay feedback under atwood7fan.

Actually that’s not true because it came w/o a hard drive. Also when I got it the thing wouldn’t even power on and it took me several hours of tinkering to get it to turn on. Then I had to get a copy of OSX to put on it. So yeah… worth a lot more than $3.

ParticipantSend me some pics. I’ll give you $100 + 30 + shipping for it if I like the condition. As long as it includes a copy of OSX.

Btw, don’t discredit the hard drive. Installing them in the G4 is a pain in the arse and requires you take the thing half apart. It was quite humerous watching Joe do it 4 times in 1 night.
