server problems?

Hey I was wondering why there really isn’t any fix to the problems that has plagued the WCU cs 1.6 server? There are things like server illegal message sv_bad errors and such that will cause a lot of people to be dropped from the server along with some other lil issues. I love the server because of the people there but these issues that were ok for a while are just getting annoying cuz they keep occurring over and over without a solution.

We are in the process of getting our own server to run everything on, when that happens issues like that will be resolved, I say why fix it now when we will have to fix it again when we get the new server.

 

So just be patient for now

The svc_bad error can’t be fixed. It happens from time to time on servers with as much traffic as ours.

do you mind me asking…what happened to the ping kicker? It was set at 200 ping before but now it seems you have to have a really high ping 200+ for more than a while to get kicked….just wondering if you could fix this….there are some people who lag so bad in the server…

I got 150 or something in ping and it dosent kick me !

i got dropped from the server about 5 times in a 3 minutes period yesterday due to svc_bad grrrr

I get 70-90 ping but I’m from the WIS…so yeah thats kinda far away….then i get bad spikes…as for the SVbad error…

 

 

Trust me marLey I know exactly how you feel…I get so disgusted that I just leave the server and go play some scoutzknivez…

server crashed a couple times tonight and none of the admins in red were on aim to restart the server >.<

I am the only person that can restart the server. Yes it’s crashing and it’s not my fault. Things will clear up someday. The sooner the better, it’s semi out of my hands at this point.

So? We had some people planning to come down from Chicago. I came up from Atlanta, another wanted to come that was in Savannah. Work is the only thing that got in their way.

yeah I’m not really able to travel 5+ hours to play 8 hrs of cs and then drive back +5 hrs….but it still would be fun…..This sever is a great one once you look past the server issues (lag spikes, crashes, errors)

It’d probably be less time total than the time you’d spend sitting in the server baiting everybody.
