is it the slow season or is the 1.6 server just dying. everytime im on theres only about 10 people playing what happen since danksta has lefttt

What do you consider a dead server? I consider it a server with no one in it.
less then half fulll is dead…. befor it was always packed. if i wanted to play like that id scrim all the time like rossy
The problem lies in the fact for a while the server was ran with minimal leadership, and much of the population either quit/ left for other servers. For the past 5 months we have been trying to get it back up to speed and have made a lot of progress by incorporating more active admins, trying to find a sexy rotation, and encouraging people to drop by the forums.
compared to when danksta used to play (when the normal # of people at anytime was 25-32) the server is dead… but compared to 4 months ago the server is far from dead. just gotta get back to that 25-30 point
and major has done an awesome job getting the community back to the server and getting it re-populated. I know it will get back to being full soon

A lot of maps on the server don’t work for some reason. Yesterday, when the server was empty I tried to check out some of the maps that the server offers but A LOT of them didn’t work. Some of the maps I tried were de_survivor, snowskeet, cs_school, de_russka, de_cpl_fire, de_westwood, etc. I noticed almost half of the maps on the list (maps *) don’t work. It says something like ‘map is not valid’ :thumbsdown_anim:

and they are 3 midterms now because on prof was lazy and didn’t write the test yet, so he is gonna give ti after spring break lol
Back on topic: dice’s redirects arn’t up right now either so that may be contributing to it

I have spring break all next week, so I may spend one night and go through all the maps and have a List of “Working” and a list of “Fails” then figure out why the fails fail.
Knowing me, I would destroy Tron doing this… so it would be at like 4am one night (dont tell Liam or i mite die)

A lot of the regulars seem to be playing on the PGN servers now…those servers are usually packed (16v16) and they offer a map vote at the end of each map…bah!
me been busy busy busy beaver..school and doing rainbow starfish maneuvers down mountains..havent plaid in ova a munf..me get back in2 i rill soon…LOOT.
everything is push push push for me too….and i godda start looking for a part time job soon to keep myself busy
