so i was just reading some of these, and we ban people now for “stacking and baiting”
LOL you have GOT TO BE JOKING ME… if our *edited* on the server is as good as it supposed to be, stacking isnt possible, PTB will sort it out (which i think sucks at it)… and bating? i mean really… its a freakin pub, people are supposed to be stat *edited*s… most of these kids dont have anything except a pub to try at, and your gonna crack on them for wanting good stats and “baiting” when there are a possible 15 other people on their team…
thats just absofreaking rediculous…
but hey, i guess who am i and what do i know….
This was a source issue, and we do not have PTB in source. It wasn’t what you would think it was. It got so bad that it was making everyone in the server miserable and people would start dropping like flies when it was at its worst.

im not really tryin to cause trouble, i just read that and it made me laugh…
and ptb is one thing, the thing that just got me was the fact that baiting was mentioned in the mix… and the awp thing…
the awp is part of the game, and unless you ban it from use… is fair game any and all the time
you could get a mod to where only like 2 people on each team can have one in one round
Mani’s adminmod already allows us to restrict it to one or two (or even 3 or 4) per team but most of us feel it really shouldn’t be restricted. We restrict the autosniper because 95% of servers restrict it in Source, much like 95% of the servers in 1.6 restrict the Shield.
well i dont believe any weapon in CS should be restricted…its a fair part of the game…even if it is a shield or dualies or whatever it may be..
as far as the stacking and baiting bans go, ill see what i can change about that
I’m inclined to agree with Ver1sauce on this. Stacking isn’t a crime nor is baiting. With of playerbase of 200,000+ worldwide, stat*edited*s and assholes will be encountered. This is a fact of CS. Just because you’re an admin doesn’t mean you should be able to ban playerx because he just got you kiled at long A so he could get two kills. PUB NUB. You want to play without baiters? Go league play.

although i have CS:S as well as admin there too (or at least i used to) not many people i personally know play source…
and i think shields should be enabled!!!!! especially if the autosniper is enabled (once agian on 1.6)
if there is no shield, i say no autosniper!!!!!!

shields are retarded, as are autosnipes. It annoys me when people camp w/ autosnipe on the server but o well it doesn’t happen that often. I don’t think limiting the number of awp’s is a good idea though. Back in the day when I used to play other pubs, it was really annoying when I had close to $16k and wanted to awp but couldn’t because other people bought first.
yeah, I agree with the cam here completely. except for the autosnipes being retarded. they’re great for spamming
In my opinion I don’t see many people using awp’s on the 1.6 server, don’t know about the source server.I only read the first thread, but V, has a point, baiting and stacking has been going on from the beggining of time, it even happens it real life, for instance, the NY yankees stack, Hunters use bait, panckaes are stacked, and I’m also a very big noob.

Seriously tho, it was kind of a bummer on source. People got obnoxious about it when asked them to stop, acting like they were living out their god given potential and that we were just scrubs.
You can necessarily ask someone to stop playing in a way that is beneficial to them. I mean the whole point of the game is to win. Some equate this as team wins and others as personal. I think those that stack and bait fall into the latter, as far as stacking goes tho, it should be fixed by admins, if people dont like it and move back well then sei la vie (is that how you spell it)
