So are you guys happy with the amount of Ram on the server? Is 12 gigs enough? what if we maxed it out at 16? would that better?

    what do you think?

Well the servers are getting more popular by the day. How much does our ram cost? Do you see the Virtual Servers potentially getting used more?

Actually the server can’t hold more than 16 gigs so technically anything over that would be too much. But thats just semantics.

how aboutt we take theat money iand invest it ina quad or at least dual Processor boards and systems. then we can have each processor running a different game.

jsut an idea. thats what we plan on doing eventually at my work for the gaming.

the processors are duals, duals, 64 bit. Power is not an issue at this time.

    Here are the quick stats:

    HP DL385 (2u Rack mount)

Dual AMD Opteron 250 2.4 Ghz

12 Gigs PC 3200 DDR2 (hopfully soon to be 16)

6×130 gig Raid array (effectivly 1x 683Gig HD)

Total cost was just shy of $10,000.
