So I was dead and specing someone trying to awp when I saw their own teammate call them a name (i wont mention it because i dont want it to become the main point here) and kept shooting their face to mess up the aiming. He wouldnt stop even after being asked to stop (no admin was on). Is this allowed?
I was on when citan saw this and he asked me about my take on it. When awping and you’re shot in the face by a team mate your whole view gets distorted for a second, but when you are shot from a fully automatic weapon at point blank it really destroys any chance of hitting your target. Accidents happen when you get startled but Citan is talking about is when they take aim at you and shoot with the intent to disrupt your game play. We didn’t see anything about face shooting in the rules.

It was no accident the person who did this was trying to cause problems. He stood right next to the guy and just started shooting. My best guess is he was mad because he didnt get an awp. What as admins would you all do in this situation?
I think that this is a punishable thing but only if it is persistant…if it was all in good fun then i don’t think we should be the fun police and stop it from happening…but the use of the word “*edited*” was inapropriate i think.

Admins: Feel free to warn and slay for this. For repeat offenders give them a temp ban. If it happens after that let me know.
This fits neatly under Rule 13.

Well is it really fun when you die because of it? I know I would be really mad if someone did this to me and I died because of it. Its one thing to do it when stats are not on when there are to few people in the server but when the server is full as it was in this case im sure he lost a good deal of points because of it.
well master p said it was under rule 13 so have at the slay command and be damned greatful you get the chance
About the teammate shooting at you.. it really does effect your game play. When i use an awp my own teammate does that to me and it’s really annoying. Especially when you did nothing or said anything to them. They purposely want you to die so they can take your weapon. I really hate it when people do that to me but an admin is never on when people do that.
yeah… but oh well i still think that should be the mindset
