Participantso, I may be too much of a rainbow six fan, but the prone position is rather useful for picking off people with any flavor of sniper. Does it exist in CS:S?

ParticipantIt should be. Make the sniper rifles inaccurate as hell unless you’re laying down and unable to move, it would make the game so much more fair.

ParticipantHaving a prone postion in CS would be the absolute best. You can sorta fake it in a few spots, like behind the bar in militia. If you crouch and go under the shelves it squishes you down another 1/2 your size, so your view is like a foot off the ground. And if they add prone they oughta add bipods too. that way we can mount a scope on a para, deploy it, and commit truly horrible gheyness. Hmmm…….dust 2, double doors……deployed para…..yum………

ParticipantProne in CS would blow. It would make it too much like some Tom Clancy bull*edited*. This isn’t Tom Clancy, it’s CS

ParticipantYes, CS. Where people can bunnyhop around with a large-caliber sniper rifle and get headshots time after time after time.

ParticipantAnd me…
But prone makes the game more real…. bunny hopping with an awp pulling off headshots… is a little… unbalanced…
Eh, I was big in to BF2, so getting into CSS is a little harder than it would be for most people… I’m so used to the BF2 aiming/recoil system… way different than CSS.
Bleh, getting a little bit better though…

ParticipantBunnyhopping was so 1.3 gxti, get your facts straight nub
. Now its just lag adjustments making it look like the people are landing and shooting at the same time, same in 1.6. Stevo, I played BF2 tons as well as BF2142 so

ParticipantI see… maybe we should play sometime… I’m always up for some BF2… Didn’t like 2142 much though.
Anyways though, I’ve been playing since BF1942, so I have grown to their aiming system… It’ll take me a while to break old habits… gameplay is much faster in CSS, so I gotta get used to that as well.
