Problem with VoteMap

We all thought that VoteMap was going to solve the rotation problem.

But Has anybody noticed that we play the de_Dust2 and cs_Office ALL THE TIME.

yeah as much as i like the map vote, it seems the 15 map rotation has been turned to a 5 map one (dust2 dust office italy and train) if there is a way to use the map vote where you cant vote the same map that has been played in the last 5 maps, it would be awesome. maybe add some more maps too, i only ever see 10 diff maps come up, whatever happened to snow and scoutz and all that good stuff?

This is going to be fixed in the near future. I’m waiting to get a copy of the source-code for the vote plugin that we are running to modify and keep this from happening anymore so that we have a better rotation on the voting system.

 

Please just give us a little time to get it worked out.

 

Remember, the more a map is voted for, the more often it shows up right now. Basically if everyone votes Dust2 everytime it comes up, it’ll come up more often.

when this is fixed i will be very happy. as it is right now, the frustration causes me to leave the server a lot due to us playing the same 5 maps. I think a plugin that wouldn’t allow us to play a map that has been played within even the last 15 or so maps would be great, as long as more maps were added that people would like, or learn to like.

perhaps changing our version of assault (upc) to either cs_1337_assault or even winterassault – they’re both much better in my opinion, more fun.

also, i really miss scoutzknivez!

i had to make this post due to my frustration with playing italy 7000 times in a span of 3 minutes. you didn’t know that was possible did u?

i have been trying to add maps to the map vote, just to let everyone know

what everyone else said….same 5 maps picked by nubs who join our sever but alot of new maps would be good

i have an idea, change it back to rotation until you have a voting system that will work without playin the same 5 maps. i like voting, but the old rotation was better than the vote system now.
