I figured it’d be a good idea to have a few people show up. And possibly wreck their console community.. assuming they have one. Granted, they have games, but on their forums.. well the only one that I’ve seen posted is Akuzan. Anyways.. the only game I saw that I’d be interested in playing is CoD4. I have no idea how they’re going to do Rock Band, if it is a tournament and not just free play. Other than doing it Guitars only, or some nonsense.
Anyways.. CoD4. I’m assuming its 4v4.. I’ll delve deeper into that issue. If you want to go over to App’s LAN… which is the following Saturday after ours, let me know. Otherwise, I may schedule our own event at Central then.
It would be great to do something here instead, but the ability to see how they run their tournaments we may get some new ideas from theirs if any.
i have gained alot of expereance from talking to the execs of app gaming. I would highly sudjest attending one of their events. They run their events different from ours, lets one gain expereance on what does/doesent work.
get on irc and join their chann #appgaming, talk to them, they are nice people
They are only going to have COD 4 and those other odd ones like rock band but I dont own COD 4 and the people I am playing with own it but hey we will see how this goes lol. The next lan at App after the upcoming one will have Halo 3. If you come to that one then we will ahve some real fun. But yes the COD 4 tourney is 4v4 but they have not announced any specifics yet.
