Ping increase

There have been several posts about increasing the ping limit for the HPK. Vote up.

 

NOTE: If the limit is increased, admins will still have full discretion on kicking laggy players. So if a 160ms player is laggy he can still be kicked.

That’s the reason I’m willing to try this.

and it means the regulars that access Steam Community or Alt Tab by accident gets a chance to stay in the server or the regulars or everyone be kicked every spike that happens 150 or so for 2 seconds. It gets annoying after twice trust me. It should be moved too 200 for players that usually increase activity in the wee early or late hours. Also enough admins dont shouldnt count. Some admins dont care about the ping. It wont honor the kids that lag completely and an admin dont give a snap which im sure are all lenient on not kicking and want less work. Its been seen and done in the server

I never get kicked for alt tabbing or using steam community x_X.

this is just recently, it never happened before lol. Since the ping kicker has been back is when i’ve been getting kicked and other reg’s that dont usually get kicked have.

I think that the ping should be raised a bit to a reasonable level. I mean there are people who have high pings and still

play somewhat normal. And there are people who just lag, and warp, and well seems like their playing counterstrike on powerpoint. It be better to let an admin decide if someone is just really obnoxiously warping and lagging and kick.

NO! Keep it at 150, cause it gets so *edited* when people with 200 and over come. I am like at 50’s so, im good.

we should move it up because i always see regulars getting kicked and they werent even laggy

Just set it at 200ms and when ppl come in that lag a load kick em

Ping should be moved to 200. We have a lot of great players from Brazil, and fellow countries, I think it would be great as some people are learning from people on the other side of the world and such.

I’m going to go ahead and call it since the vote is 2:1. Feel free to further discuss this as it’s considered to be in a testing stage for the next few weeks.

 

I’m counting on admins to act RESPONSIBLY in kicking players, if this becomes a problem I will reduce it back down to 150ms.

Those were publicly voted on too but I’ll probably be mixing it up again here soon. There are only a handful that need gotten rid of.
