We are holding a meeting on March 13th @ 9:00 PM, Catamount Room in the UC.
We will be holding elections for Vice President (club), Vice President (consoles), and Treasurer, if you already hold a position you can run for one of these instead, if you get it then we will hold elections for your old position.
Most likely we will be talking about LAN stuff too, we probably won’t be going as far as voting stuff in but I think we should definitely talk about it. Consoles I want to hear from you on what your thinking as well. This is a new dawn as some may say to this club, if you want to know how I think or my ideas I suggest you show up and ask me at the meeting!

I am considering running for Treasurer. I looked at the description in the constitution, but I’d like to know some more of the details.
Games should be voted in now in order to start prepping their servers. The official LAN stuff from the constitution needs to be officially voted in (time, location, games, etc). Remember that a person may hold 2 positions with the Gaming Club but we are trying to steer away from that direction if possible. If I don’t make it to the meeting, I nominate Thor for Vice President and his girlfriend Shawna for treasurer, as well as Deviant Syntax for console Vice President.

If we were to play CoD4 on console would we need all of the TVs and XBox’s?!?!?! Cause I have tried to play on the same screen and XBox as someone and it did not work. I’m a noob so I don’t know if there is any way to work around that.

There is no reason beside time constraints that we cant run both since they seem to be very popular right now. The only question is do we want to have 2 CoD 4 tournaments? And then do we run them simultaneously or at diff times
Why not have them at the same time? Maybe at the meeting find out how many people would honestly play in both? If nothing else it’d be a great photo-op to have lots of TV’s and PCs all in CoD4 at the same time.
