With this 16K thing, I think we need to limit people from buying an AWP 2 rounds in a row in order to attempt to distribute AWPs evenly, since alot of people like to use AWPs all the time.
Do you understand what I’m trying to say?

We could always raise the price of an AWP to 16k. That way if they go AWP they have severe limitations on what else they can do.
Either of these are good ideas. If we were to raise the price, I’d say at least let them get armor or a pistol.
I’m still very against 16k though. It seems like it takes a lot of the challenge out of playing. You don’t have to work to get what you want. I talked to #16 this weekend and he said the same thing too. BTW, are there any definitive stats on ppl joined per week or total playing time in the server per week so that we can compare the difference between 16k and regular, or are we evaluating this qualitatively?

ParticipantServer seems to be better lately

ParticipantThat’s because stats are down.

Participantyeah, whats up with that?

ParticipantITS kinda deleted our server…
They’ll be back up in a week or so.

ParticipantSo wait,
The server is better and reg seems fine, but stats are going back up regardless…? =X
PS. FYI, I’m a firm believer that stats does mess with the reg a bit on the server. You can troll me all you want, but I’ve noticed better accuracy on my part at least every time rank and stats went down over the past 8 months. I have also heard such an argument from other regular players.
Either way, I’ll be playing on the server, but I’m just giving my 2 cents.

ParticipantStats are going back up because in a few days our server capacity will be increased by about 20x
if not more

REG IS FINE NOOB
Really though the reg has seemed as bad as always to me. But you can’t expect good reg on a pub server, and WCU has better reg than most pubs.

ParticipantIf you think reg is good now, oh boy have we got a surprise for you…

um I am not making any promises until I see proof that having the new server in the datacenter will work without a hitch.

This is quite possibly the most perverted thing you have ever said.

ParticipantOh I’m sure it won’t.
Not at first anyway.
Btw, we’re still waiting for Patrick to put the correct OS on it. He said he’d do it yesterday morning.

I’m almost positive I’ve said worse to/about/regarding Kalia at one point or another.

I have always noticed that I play better when stats are down.

I know its just a “game” but what counter terrorist is going to go into a situation with a side arm and no armor?
16k aint that bad. Makes it a bit more “realistic”.
Well, just saying, in a game I would. For me and CS:S, I’ve found the knife does just fine and dandy whether or not you’re packing heat or a helmet.

and like I just said, the knife always seemed to do just fine, whether or not stats were running. dunno what your problem with hits registering is…

ParticipantYAY REG…
well the only way to get good reg and stats is to have a stat program that updates only once a day from the daily logs… so real time stats wouldn’t be possible
