ParticipantI was directed here no dice wcgaming .. I asked him if he new how to load scoutzknivez he said talk to Adam .. So here I am..
If Adam dont reply maybe someone else can help me plz.. Trouble i’m having is getting the map scoutzknives to load it’s custom settings like (ex.) sv_gravity 200 and sv_talk 1 and few other settings with AMXMODX 176A I have tryed and read alot of post as of what to do and i can’t figure out why it isn’t loading custom settings only the default map which has no gravity!!
Heres what i’ve done to help narrow it down.. Created a maps folder which is case sensitive (maps) in the dir of addons/amxmodx /config/configs/maps and placed a made scoutzknives.cfg in the maps folder with the custom settings
when i load the map from the server ,it goes right to the default map ,plus i get error messages in console that it’s missing the scoutzknivez.txt …..plus somthing called overviews….
I downloaded the map and all i got was the scoutzknivez.bsp nothing else.. I’m at wits end with no help . My members are really wanting this map on the server and i’m like um Stupid! of not knowing what I need to do to get it running..
Also Tryed putting the command in the server .cfg but that change that on all maps
NEED HELP!! is it me or amxmox giving me fits! thanks guys

Participantwho is this? I dont recall anyone asking me about scoutzknivez???
Anyhow.
you need to make a .res file and place it in your cstrike folder that will make everyone download whatever is in that file. (aka text)
for the low gravity you need to have a config per map. and save the Scoutzknivez config with LG at 220. not sure what air_accelerate is to be set at..?
i also beleave you can save it via rcon per map… but dont hold me to it…

As for why low gravity isn’t working, I think the per-map configs are provided by a plugin, not amxx itself. Hence why it’s not working :>

Participantso much easier in call of duty…
all you have to do is place the map file in the main folder and they auto download it.
Simple as pie!

This isn’t a problem with downloading scoutzknivez, it’s getting custom configs to work.
