ParticipantI hate to have to tell everyone this but I dont think we will be able to do anything during this years Valley Ballyhoo. However, I believe that we could try to advertise the first gaming club meeting hevaily so we can attract as many new faces as possible. Especially the freshman. I could print up some fliers since I have a copier at my disposal but I might need to use some funds to buy paper. If you dont think thats good enough we could have our own little orientation during a different day and welcome newcomers into the club then. What do you guys think?
Not to toot my own horn but I think this is a pretty good idea since thier will be no other clubs distractions around.

ParticipantI highly doubt it but Im going to double check tomorrow. Even if we do Im not going to be able to make it because Im in Raleigh until Saturday which means I wont get back to Culowhee until it is over anyway (I wish they would have held it the week after classes started). But if we do not have a table there, sorry guys and gals, I tried. And if not I will follow through with one of the two other plans.

ParticipantI don’t think there even was a Valley Ballyhoo last year. I’m not heartbroken by this. It would be good for us to advertise the first meeting, though. Also, I have a few general fliers left over from last semester, so maybe I’ll post those up during the first few weeks.

ParticipantI think your tables in the UC did alot of good as well. You might try getting a table once a week or so and try to recruit new members.
During the first few weeks of school maybe do it a few times a week. Anything to get us seen will help.
I’d also like to see you guys set up tables on open house days again. That one day you happened to have a table during an open house I think you got a ton of visibility to the incoming class and that will help more than anything.
