    Basically i’m looking at 3 monitors and I’ll give you an overview of each, the first is a samsung 22″ 2ms 8,000:1 (1,000:1), $250, the seconds is a 24″ acer, 2ms, 3,000:1 (1,000:1) $360, and the final is a samsung 24″, 5 ms, 10,000:1 (1,000:1), $429

I want to know the differences, if any, that i will see across all of them, basically if the 2 and 5 second response time will show a difference, and if the difference sets of contrast ratios will show a difference. Thanks

I’ll also throw out that the acer and smaller samsung are 5 star, the big samsung is 4.

I’m sure the 22″ would be large enough; I would definitely throw out the Acer as its screens are inferior to Samsung’s in almost every way. As far as the 2 Samsung’s, it’s a tossup but you can almost get 2 22″ers for the price of the 24″er so I think the choice is obvious.

Get the 22″ Samsung. As Nickname said, the are superior in every way. Like the Borg, only closer to perfection.

I just bought that 22″ Samsung. It’s a great monitor, though it really showed me how much my vid card sucked. Check Tiger’s price. If you can get them to return a rebate to you, I think they can knock $30 off that price.
