There is no difference for just about anyone but on campus students and even then the difference shouldn’t even be noticeable.

This pretty much nullifies the ticrate change. There are other minor factors but for the most part, for anyone that thinks that you see a difference, it’s in your head 100%.
well the server has been having alot more lag spikes lately, where everyone on the server freezes for a few seconds or whatever.
the shot registry is as bad as always.

I do see an improvement in choke, it seems to appear less… thats good, now its the lag that have to be fix…. I cant stop being annoyed by that suddenly a guy pops out of the blue and kills me…. happened yesterday on Dust, looking in mid and then suddenly he was 1 yard away from me and I was dead, and then I was killed before someone appeared…
Yes my latency is now upto some 100….. instead of 70….
honestly, kill off one of your game servers that not popular… and keep the popular one alive… dont balance it like if you’re a communist.

No, it’s two single core CPUs.
No we aren’t killing anything off. They need to keep this box capped to convince the powers that be we need a new one. So if you want an even more awesome server than what we have, you’re going to have to deal with it for a while.
The people running the server know what they are doing (most of the time). Let them do their jobs.

Understandable
but it seems like that its gotten alot worser what i was before the stat reset (I like to use this as a reference point)
Again, the servers that are causing the most load have a really high ranking and at this point it would be stupid to kill any of them. The only one that is low enough to consider killing is the TF2 server but it’s fairly inactive and we wouldn’t get any benefit from closing it.

TF2 will be offline, i still got alot of work to do to it. And it really does not need to be on during all this testing/setup quite yet. I’ll still plan nights to turn it on so everyone can play on but there is no since to have it idle on when we need the resources. As MP said, it prob wont help much as its just idle, but it should help some.
Yeah I noticed it was down this morning and was kind of curious why. Just get it set up how you want and turn it back on when you’re ready.
