ParticipantLooks nice bro, how much you pay for it?
December 28, 2007 at 10:38 pm #33112Ephraim
ParticipantWith shipping, about $30. I was also considering this one. I think I made the right decission, but maybe I’ll get the DS version of it.

ParticipantOh, I know you did not just call the 360 a piece of garbage!
December 29, 2007 at 4:13 pm #33136Bitey
ParticipantIt is a piece of garbage though, face the facts
December 29, 2007 at 4:36 pm #33139Ephraim
ParticipantIt gave us four of the six console tournies at the last LAN. I wouldn’t call that garbage. Just this year alone we got Halo 3, Rock Band, Assassin’s Creed, and Bioshock. Plus, it makes a dandy DVD player.

ParticipantOnly one of those games is a 360 exclusive (Others have PC and PS3 releases. Or both!), and that’s only until it’s released on PC.

Those graphic stickers are pretty nifty though. Really makes the 360 look fancy.

ParticipantEvery game you listed will be released on the PC as soon as 360 sales for it drop.
All MS hopes to do with the Xbox at this point is put their competition out of business which, fortunately for the rest of us, isn’t happening. Right now the 360 is full of fail. If not for the Halo series it’d have pulled a Dreamcast years ago.

ParticipantEphrain you made a good decision with the skin..
PS3 w/e else you want to think is good, but its not, 360 is the best

ParticipantThis is coming from the guy with the forum name of Master Chief and two massive MC sigs. Biased?
I mean no malice when I say that, of course.

I really hope this dosen’t turn ino another idiotic PC vs. Console argument. They each have their pros and cons. Some people just don’t like to play games like Assassin’s Creed on PCs. The two mediums appeal to different tastes. I have had a lot of fun with my 360. As such, Microsoft has accomplished its goal of releasing a solid product. Not only does it have good games, but LIVE is well done and the accomplishments are surprisingly addictive. Enough with the baseless bashing. The 360 is a fine system.
PS: The Dreamcast ruled!
December 30, 2007 at 5:30 pm #33192Bitey
ParticipantHere is how I see it, the 360 is a gaming console and that is as far as and as good as it gets.
With the PS3 you get a blu-ray player which when it first came out was the cheapest on the market, a gaming console, and with the aspect of HOME coming out soon a type of MMO kind of like 2nd life. So with all these combined you get an entertainment system that covers all your bases.
So its up to you what do you want, a gaming console or an entertainment system?
I go with the latter.

ParticipantThe 360 shares plenty of games with the PC and PS3, but it generally gets the best of both. You can play Rock Band on 360 and PS3, but not PC; you can play Gears of War on 360 and PC, but not PS3. Do you see where I’m going with this. As for Blu-Ray, I don’t really care.

ParticipantI used to think Gears was one of the 360’s greats, until I played the PC version. I LOVE the PC version. Extra content and Brumak fight for the win.
