I think the LAN went ve*edited*OUTMYASSry well. It was really fun to see Eye of Judgement in action. I do hope we get two projectors next time. IncidenDAMMITRICHARDtly, my 360 was used to host the GH3 tournament. When I got back to my dorm, I had above five new achievments. I don’t even oTITSASSBARBARASTREISANDwn the game!
The SOURCE council leader rolled the *edited* over everyone at inferno in 1.6, I was like 20-0 at one point, having clutched like the first 5 rounds, kids got balled, when everyone else had at least 14 deaths I had like 5, and they say source is easy.
I was on the DoD:S and TF2 team wins
. Held it down with a solid Demoman Defense(tf2) and Assault Offense(DoD:S).Needed the new headset ^^.
I think the LAN went really well. No problems beyond the SGA members being complete morons about funding. I guess jumping through 15 hoops wasn’t enough, we needed to lick their toes as well. Too bad im not a hot toe picker!
Honestly though, the events were great, the people were great, and overall the LAN was a success. I do feel that NIX got shafted out of the CS 1.6 Finals due to a last minute addition of a 3v3 round. Lame.
Can’t wait for the next LAN!
do ya’ll not play CS:S at the lans?
and when is the next one.. I would have tried to go to this one but I need a new truck since a giant tree limb fell on mine and totaled it… (*edited* you clemson university who won’t pay for *edited*)
Yeah I was kind alright with going on for another round, but I guess nix kinda got ignored there, I would have liked to of played him in the final, I had forgotten that we had already played two maps before, office completely slipped my mind. If I had remembered I prolly would have said nah finals time.
raine you should have seen me clutch 12v1 on dust yesterday, it was lmaoamazing, i dont’ have a DEMO or anything… but it was amazing…
I was impressed at the console turnout this time. Especially for the NCAA at our 2nd attempt of that type. Good Halo turnout as well, plus good competition this go around. I suggest watching the games. If you don’t have Live and Halo 3, come stop by my room at some point (even next semester) and show you. Still need the finals though.
