Okay so I’ve decided not to get the Alienware in order to save myself a ton of money. But here’s the problem I’m having now. I want a retail laptop so I can keep it around 1000 bucks, I want an AMD processor and here’s what I cannot for the life of me find: A retail laptop, that isn’t HP, with dedicated video ram. I DO NOT WANT SHARED VRAM!!!!!!! I found one at best buy but it’s clearance and I won’t have the money till about week 2 or 3 of January, which means it will probably be gone by then. Does anyone know where I can find a laptop that’s AMD with dedicated vram in a retail store (ie Best Buy, Circuit City, Office Depot/Max)? And does anyone know where the nearest Gateway store is from Hickory?
