i do know that we are not even thinking about puting up another server but if we ever do i’d like to see what you guys think about having an RPG DM surf server?

 

nothing concrete because i know the gungame, sauce, l4d, 1.6, and tf2 servers are enough trouble as it is but if at anytime in the future there is an opportunity for a new server or a replacement server i’d just like to hear some feedback on this idea because i’ve been messing around with the idea by looking at some different servers and they seem to be full *edited* near all hours of the day so it’s just another thought

i would personally like to see ore servers online of different types.

 

If anyone knows of a game that can bring the club more members and someone is willing to step up and be CL i dont see any reason we could get said server up for this game. and as you said it will take time, but gotta start some time.

well right now we dont have the resources but in the future when (if?) we get our new server, we could explore this option

As it is now, I can’t create another PC game server without severely cutting the quality of our existing servers or having it lag everyone out during our peak time.

 

Keep server ideas coming though because we have a new box in our future and we’ll need to find new and creative ways to use it.

oh yeah, i didn’t mean anytime soon because i knew about the problems we had with the new gun game and l4d server taking a lot of heat, they seem to be fine now but this was an idea if at anytime one of our servers were to fail now or as you say in the future when or if we get the resources to host another server

lul u know gg has kinda been an experimental server.. mebbe on the next fun night we can put on a surfmap for 1 map.. like 15 min or so
