Just wanted to state for the record d2.sticky-icky is the worst admin to date for WCU. He complains about every single thing, abuses and overuses his admin privs, and has to rejoin the server 3 times just to break even. One of the worst cs players and administrators for the server and it makes me LOL when he threatens every single person on the server for the most minuscule of reasons whether it be saying the least bit of thing that is out of line or ts camping spawn on d2. It is just laughable since it is a pub and the guy really needs to grow up. I don’t really care either if you don’t like me for the post because it is true and everyone should know it. He slayed me 4 times + gagged me for joking around and still managed to not even drop half my score on the server when I’m drunk. I mean are you serious? :/ LOL

This just makes you look like a dbag. If you want to flaunt *edited* when you’re drunk do it on another server pubstar.
Unless there’s something that took place in the server that I’m not aware of, I’m wondering what’s with the first two responses to this thread.
The only thing I’ve seen sticky do that was questionable was catch someone crouch running and then warn him/slay during the same round.
You warn, and then slay the next time they do it.
I warn for most of the same things that he does.
There is to be no camping in t spawn on dust2 (srsly, what was the point of that example?). I’ve seen sticky gag when appropriate. He might be quick to gag if someone gives him lip, but I only say that cuz I roll with the punches if I know people are joking with me (I don’t really know what the circumstances with sticky, like how things started out and if the person’s really being a douche).
Hmm. I don’t think I’ve seen abuse from sticky. He might be a little stricter than some admins, but what he’s doing isn’t crazy.
And why would you use “it’s a pub”? What is that supposed to mean? It’s a pub, so admins shouldn’t be policing the servers? People have rules for their servers and admins to uphold them. People can have fun in it if they’re okay with the rules. If not, they can find another server.
Administration should do their job to police, but when you overuse your privs blatantly and threaten people I think that is a little crazy. Most admin can take a joke and deal with it. This guy gags ASAP if he doesn’t like the least little thing you say. Once the gag is up if he still doesn’t like what you say he continually slays you to be cute. Just apply another gag if it is that big of a deal I don’t care I sit through them. I know my jokes are a little extreme when I drink so I take my punishment like a man. He went out of his way to threaten and slay/gag/kick every single person last night whether they were crouch running, in t spawn, or saying things to disagree with him. When it is 1 person making an infraction and it is handled that is 1 story, but when you have him X’ing half the server cause he is in a bad mood that is another. If they are breaking a rule warn them don’t instantly use your privs to gain the upper hand and taunt people when they can’t do anything back. That is what he does! I say something that is a joke to him, he instantly gags with no warning, and then after the gag taunts me instantly after to be cute. If you wanna call someone a douche bag that is the exact example of one right there. I want to point out that I was joking with ver1tas earlier by saying “utk sucks” because he used to go there and I used to go to mtsu (same state) and we used to taunt each other all the time. When he said I don’t feel like it today back off I did that. That is how an admin should handle a situation something that sticky can’t seem to grasp. :/
I say it is a pub because it isn’t that serious nor should it be treated as such. People should have fun and “roll with the punches” not threaten every single person in the server because he wants to be the net police or some sort of server tyrant of the seas. Strict or not the guy needs to take a chill pill and cool down before he starts using his admin privs instantly and blowing things out of proportion.
BTW HappyGilmore that was really uncalled for when I am trying to point out a legitimate issue. I have no beef with any other admin at WCU nor have I ever in the years I have played on the server. I just might remove you from steam friends now because that hurt. :/ LOL (joke I still <3 gilmore)

I join the server to have fun and I just play the game. Yesterday I signed on and you kept cracking wise jokes and I let the first few slide. But after you continued to make negative comments about me, I could not let you continue to disrespect me as an admin. Keep your wise jokes to yourself. Being drunk should have nothing to do with it.

Also for tips don’t taunt someone after you gag them and expect them to not come back at you after the gag is up. It isn’t cute or smart and it just brings trouble back on yourself nor does the slaying and talking bs after. Just because you aren’t doing well and the game isn’t going your way doesn’t give you reason to throw a hissy fit and start going off on people. Funny thing was t’s weren’t even camping spawn really most of them were rushing cat because that is how I racked a 30 bomb. Plus cts were pushing from long and cat rushing them so nothing they could really do anyway. The reality of the situation was you were getting beat and blaming your team and complaining over nothing instead of just playing. If you spent less time threatening them and just playing you might have done better, but hey what do I know. I didn’t know admin could be soar losers, but I guess that isn’t the case. You were looking for trouble and starting bs with people so I just inserted myself as the road block since you already gagged and taunted me.
BTW I remember back before you had admin you used to talk bs 24-7 and act like you were pro at cs so that is why I cracked a joke at you to begin with, but I guess now that you are a big bad admin you would just rather assert your tyrannical authority instead. Instead learn to take a joke and let things roll off of you instead of being so serious and stuck up all the time. Every other admin deals dunno why you have to have an exception and be a dictator when you join the server. Finally, I don’t respect administration that threatens and pushes people around I respect ones that are nice and friendly. Like toran, gilmore, ver1tas, chris, and a few others. You are the only admin I consistently run into that is an exception to the kindness and friendliness that is shown by the rest of the staff at WCU. Respect as an administrator is earned it isn’t just given because you hold power and treat people like crap sorry mate. :/

Never seen sticky do anything out of line. He’s actually been one of the more chill admins so…yeah…whatever he did to butthurt you, you need to get over it.

MasterP I’m sorry that you think of me as a trigger-happy bossy admin. I don’t go into the server looking for trouble. I just play and do my own thing. The one thing I admit that I am strict about is crouch-running.

You didn’t say “shh” after you gagged me you said a full sentence that was something “ha how you like that” or something along those lines. That isn’t the first time you have taunted people after using your privs either. Also I didn’t say you were a sore loser for me coming back at you after taunting me after the gag. I said you are a sore loser for accusing your team of camping when they weren’t and threatening them when you were just playing bad and it had nothing to do with what they were doing. My verbal abuse towards you comes from you threatening them and taunting me after the gag. If you would just chill out when you join the server play and have fun you wouldn’t have problems. I joke around with gilmore all the time calling him gilmore n girls he doesn’t get angry and start using his admin on me. People make fun of me for the fact I am Danish and call me pastries and everything else in the book (so of which is borderline racially offensive) you don’t see me flying off the handle. Generally if someone dishes something at me I just laugh it off and dish it back it is no big deal. The fact that you didn’t even warn me you just did it and taunted me after brought all this on yourself. Then you whined at everyone the entire time you were in the server and threatened to kick and slay them if they didn’t obey you. Grow up dude and stop using your position to your advantage. You are definitely a trigger happy admin too because every time you join the server you are threatening to kick/ban someone for something after the first round of being there. It is a constant thing from you and if you think you don’t that is the biggest laugh ever. :/

I didnt read much of this thread, mainly because its stupid to bash other people over and over. Make your complaint, and let the execs look into it.
d2.sticky.icky is somewhat trigger happy, but overall, hes a good admin who follows and upholds the rules in the server. It just sounds like you were drunk and said and did things in the server that were against the rules and sticky.icky was just enforcing them. No need to get angry over that, just move on, its not a big deal.

I haven’t been playing at WCU for the longest time (I was preoccupied with the sub par servers of nc state for far too long =P), but of all the active and regular lower level admins I’ve encountered, d2.sticky (and tiggle) are by far the best well mannered, fair, and fun to play with. I wasn’t on when all of this happened, but the person posting the complaint strikes me as very immature. Not to mention sticky is probably the very BEST admin at calling out crouch running (some other admins don’t say anything).
To address Master P’s complaints: I have seen lots of admin prompted map votes when the server was well over 10+ people and I’ve encountered lots of admins that have acted like douchebags in the server, and sticky has never been one. There are always going to be inconsistencies in a setting like this – I’ve been slayed for camping before (and it *edited*ed me off) on a round where I had just bought an awp and my whole team died and it was me vs. 8 ppl and I thought that was a bit unfair. I’ve also been playing where more than 4 admins have been on and entire teams have camped spawn (inferno in particular), and I have nothing against this and it turned out to be really funny.
IMO, the rules will be bent from time to time and as long as most people are happy, it shouldn’t be a huge deal. But again, you have some admins that will not even talk to regulars, like myself, when asking for map votes (when < 10 people are on) or asking other general knowledge questions about the server, and generally, will act like DBags, and sticky has never, in my experience, fit into that category.
You got to realize a lot of the rules kinda subjective. Obviously crouch running isn’t one of them, either is racism and cheating. But I mean, spawn camping. There’s a difference between having the CT’s rush you and sitting in spawn for the entire round behind a box. Play back get the easy kills and then go do your objective. No point in rushing into like 8 people who are going to rush (when they should just be guarding the sites). And then theres SPAWN CAMPING, where you sit behind a box with a pump shotgun for the entire round. I guess what it comes down to is how the admin plays. I won’t slay anyone for playing the way I play (I like to take it SLOW, but rush and push when its needed. Call it what you will, but I’m better than you L!O@!L!E jk, obviously being sarcastic).

LOL! It was from you honey, but honestly I am over it since we talked about it and I don’t care anymore. If I say something you should know already it is honestly a joke. I respect you, gilmore, ver1tas, chris, ysG and pretty much every admin there. I enjoy playing on the WCU server or I wouldn’t be on it after years and years of playing and I wouldn’t joke with you guys constantly. I just don’t like being pushed around by an admin who honestly talks bs to people and thinks he is better than others and instantly jumps to using his admin privs before analyzing a situation and that is what sticky-icky does. Believe me whether you want to or not, but check the logs and you will see the first thing that happens generally when he is in the server is he bans/slays/kicks/gags someone within the first 2-3 rounds and that is just unacceptable. Good/strict/whatever you shouldn’t focus your time on punishing people you should focus it on having fun. Don’t take things that people say so seriously and just chill. I say a bunch of stupid bs, but toran and anyone else knows (or should) above all I don’t mean it and if I get gagged I handle it and get over it (unless I am taunted). In all honesty though for what I said and the whole conversation over Penis Pancakes and crap in the WCU Chatbox yesterday how does that deserve any sort of punishment? That night wasn’t just about me getting punished it was about him going nuts and using his privs willy nilly and I don’t think it should be that way. It would be another thing if I was the only one he was going after, but he was going after everyone in the server and wasn’t issuing warnings he was just doing wtf he wanted to do. I honestly don’t care if you believe me or not, but that is truth and the only time I come to these forums is if I have a legit issue. The last and only time I came here was because an admin “hexflex” banned me for 15 minutes because I called someone an idiot on teamsay that team flashed me. LOL I mean seriously that was the only reason and the guy that team flashed me after that cussed me out and nothing was done to him. LMAO I mean administration when they get disputed on something they take some offense to it when maybe wow they might be wrong? I know it is hard to believe, but honestly you don’t need tyrants ruling the servers you need respectable people that are friendly and outside of sticky I haven’t seen one yet that isn’t friendly. If you honestly think his style of administration is appropriate then wow because it totally differs from the style of every other admin on the server.

Rasmus I certainly don’t abuse my admin privileges. I know having admin powers is a privilege in itself and I do my best to uphold server rules. A lot of times I don’t even need to use my admin powers when there is no foul play in the server. It’s funny how you mention torankusu, gilmore, veritas, chris, and yousillygoose b/c they all have played in the server with me numerous times and I guarantee you that they all have no problems with how I conduct myself in the server.
Just give it up Rasmus. You were drunk that night and you kept dissing me for 30 minutes straight. I don’t even know you so don’t joke around with me in the server. You might think that you were “playfully joking” with me that night but in actuality, you were being very offensive, disrespectful, and annoying to me.
