all you need is a laptop with a decent video card (geforce 8600+, 9600+, ati 3650+) and you should be good. I have a dell xps 1530 with an 8600 and it plays pretty well. A laptop with a 9600gt would be awesome.
i haz a hp dv9700t with a 8600 and 2.2ghz duo
runs everything i play, tf2 on max settings/res i get ~30fps so in a year i might need to upgrade if new ghames keep coming out that i like
really i decided the big things that i am looking for in a lappy are
17 in screen
the ability to put xp on the machine
intel core 2 duo (2.0<)
I’ll admit i know nothing of video cards so im attempting to stab in the dark for something decent. i also do not want dell. at all. lol
doing a search on new egg, i end up with machines that are 2k+ and get angry than deal with my el *edited*to comp
