In need of a new headset…

So I am in the market for a “nice” headset for gaming/movies/music. It does not have to be specifically for gaming or have a microphone either.

 

I know the Razor Barrcudas or a very nice set, but I have also read some bad review on their quality of build, and I am not sure I want to spend that amount of coin on something that will break soon.

 

I was also looking into the Siberia’s…but I don’t really know much about headsets so could I get some suggestions please? My price range is <120(to include the razors of course)

On the audioFX’s I can’t seem to find whether or not the mic is detachable or not, can someone enlighten me??

 

Also, it looks like the audioFX is only compatible with USB…Can they somehow work with an mp3 player? Is there an adapter of sorts?? : (

yea i just love usb headsets… for a 3.5mm jack for like mp5 players check out seinhauser (sp?)

Yea I have a set of Sennheiser ear buds, but I have small ears and after long periods of time they hurt them…But they are the best ear buds I have ever had…

 

And many of their over-the-ear sets are a hair too rich for a poor college student like myself, but there is a pair or two that I like…

 

And other 3.5mm jack headsets that peeps would recommend??

 

Nickname, how did you feel about the Siberia’s?? Pros, cons?? I have read reviews and they like good stuff for the money, along with the AudioFX, but I was really leaning towards something that I could switch to my iPod as well…

So I want the audioFX 5-1’s but I really want to be able to use them elsewhere besides my computer and of course I cannot find an adapter that goes from USB in to 3.5mm out. I am assuming these are not made?? Can someone confirm this for me?? This makes me a sad panda now because I am now hooked on those headphones but need something that I can listen to my iPod with as well…

I need something comfortable for the pod as well…I will be studying abroad next semester, and the 14 hour flight to Australia is going to suck huge donkey balls, so I would like something comfy for extended periods of time on both the lap and the pod since both combined might last me 10 hours watching movies on both…
