My 360 tipped over the other day while my copy of Rock Band 2 was being played – it gave my disc a nice little circular scratch all throughout the surface. My 360 still recognizes it as a RB2 disc, but won’t play it.
So, I remembered that the new dashboard has the “Install to Hard Drive” feature, but still requires you to have the game in the tray to prevent free game sharing. I figure that if I copied a non-scratched disc to my hard drive, I could still used my freshly-spiraled disc to play. If anyone on campus could spare a RB2 disc for about half an hour (or however long it takes to copy a game to the drive) I would greatly appreciate it. I’ll be available any time after 2:15 today, and any time Sunday. My cell# is 919-280-8225, give me a call if you can help me out.
