I was curious on why its ONLY first person shooter type games…why not rts? even some mmorpg has some pvp actually most of them have pvp, some is gear dependent but also skill related.

 

I have not played much first person shooter games but i do love gaming.

 

How about broadening the gaming club? (or maybe I need to learn to play first person shooter games lol)

I think thats a great idea, however I do believe that some of the RTS games do not have a dedicated server mode or there are legal issues of running a server (World of Warcraft: Pay to Play comes to mind).

If you would like we come to the lan event and talk to us about what we could do to expand the club. We are all for getting more people involved. There will actually be people playing WoW at the lan. Some of them have raids during that timeframe.
