for some reason i can not do a system restore. i must have tried 6 different random dates and get this same error message.

Anyone know how to fix this. I really dont wont to reformat as i dont have a copy of windows (have the schools free version)

i guess the question is why restore and go from there?

have you tried restoring from safe mode?
