You account was banned for thirty minutes as you had another person playing on it, I thought he used his admin powers to kick lecarl who has my permission to play music at the end of the round and was ready to apologize to him until he started talking *edited* to me immediately.

Yeah, Thats understandable….. but you could see that my name wasn’t the one who booted him correct?
But if the rules get broken for one exception then pretty much anyone can break the rules, or I can start playing some Hannah Montana music??
I don’t care if yall play music after the round is over or while we are buying. I just don’t like someone talking mad *edited* to me when I’m about to apologize after finding out it wasn’t him. Nah I couldn’t see who booted him cus it said nodice wasnt an admin

I agree. The music is spammy, overly loud, and disruptive. I listen to music while I play as it is. I dont need that drowned out by ridiculous crap from a pop station. Just because lecarl likes it or two other people likes it, doesn’t mean everyone else likes it and we shouldn’t be subjected to it.

i told him to stop mic spaming. (it wasent only during buy time) it was the entire time he was dead. and after getting 2 people complained about it i told him to stop or he would get the boot. 15sec later. /nodice wiped the crap off his shoe.
Sorry i did not know you gave him permission to mic spam. As i have only been playing about 4 rounds. eather way, when someone complanes about it, mic spaming need to stop.

usually i personally mute him whenever he comes on, i only hope he doesn’t have to tell me something, or unless i feel in the mood for some “no scrubs”

for what ever reason i try to mute ppl throguh p[layers list (just so i dont half to listen to it) but 50% of the time it works/doesent.. i would mute via admin, but i dont have admin. i simple kick will get the point across. PS: i also i kicked him when he was dead.

ma_mute in console. NoDice uses the WCU Gaming account which doesn’t have admin in case it is hijacked. Muting in the player list works except for when you are both dead. For some reason, when players are dead, it overrides the mute in the player list.
How about a simple solution. If he’s playing something short and sweet, just ignore it. If he starts breaking out the minute+ long music or spams retardedly, mute/kick him.
Because it just encourages other people to A. Play there own or B. To complain louder than the music, about the music. :/
Personally, I thought Lecarl was pretty funny friday night with his well executed, well timed clip plays. But – you can’t expect every player or every admins opinion to be the same on a subject like this. It’s outside the rules, permission to break the rules just creates conflicts with the foundation that makes the server what it is.
It’s ashame that this is the subject that comes up for Mic abuse, because I think a lot more people are more annoyed and more frequently annoyed by people with excessive* background noise or people who converse through each and every round constantly and become detrimental to play outside of their 2-3 person conversation.
* excessive, greater than what is normal. Not slight hums etc. Normally those things that fall within the boundary of disregard for other players and are avoidable – eg. Kingback’s background music and other random outbursts.
