Hey guys I’m curious what, if any, rules must be followed by admins?
Are there:
1. Rules for communication both to players and other admins
a. In play talk
b. Admin talk <– dunno if thats what the white letters on the screen when you guys server talk is called.
2. Rules for regulation and enforcement
a. When someone breaks the rules (IE, illegal boost, disruptive gaming, hacking)
b. When someone hits a gray line ( If one man boosts are legal, would a boost onto the aztec ledge be considered wrong?)
3. Rules for master… erm woops just making a funny with this one
I guess I’m just looking for some basic guiding principles when it comes to giving out powers to those who can potential misuse it. More or less because somewhere down the line I would like to apply for one, but with an understanding of all the rules so I never break em

All for normal players are rules that should be fallowed by admins. They know about ghosting and do not do it, stand for it. Its simple stuff. Basically if someone complains about it we take action, Most of the time there is more than one admin in the server and will warn the other admin if he/she is doing something wrong. You know where to draw the line, if you didnt you wouldn’t be a WCU admin.
oh yea i have had to tell admins to not camp and such, but nothing big we ll stand for these rules like adam said
Thanks for the positive replies, I will apply, I just wanna get to know everyone a bit more before I jump in on something that is a responsibility.

Well im NuRayz, i havent been on in a while, but teh skillzorz or still fresh
im cool with everyone, and normally dont use my admin powers unless someone is hacking or disrespectful…and i love abusing the amx_csay but if it gets annoying just tell me and ill stop.
I disagree with zach, yeah your “posts” are one of the prereqs when applying, but that wont get you admin. Best way is to be in the server, and get to know the admins, and not *edited* off the big guys (adambomb, lootool, nodice, koros, raven, gtxi, me *cough*). As long as we think your cool, and some what smart, youll be fine.

Anyways sorry I havent been around, been spending time studying ( yes it sucks but im tryin to get my gpa to a 4.0 and its a rough climb from 3.7)As for my avatar according to my gf’s lil brother its not a piokemon, its a neo pet. But I was searching for a picture of a deathspirt and it was this, or a grim reaper sort of picture. I thought the grim reaper would be too.. obiquitous. So i chose it.
As for learning about the admins I know quite a few now, not well mind you, but enough. It will do with time I’ve got 120+ hours in the server more than tofo
He sucks, and I know he d/l his skillYea, I plan on starting a campaign for admin sometime in the near future, it’s gonna be sick, theres gonna be posters n ppl playing gazoo’s, ah you wait, it’ll be the bomb.
I also predict that I will not get admin, because I’m way too hardcore.

LoL I’ve heard about you.. even played (against you) and found that your pretty good. Competent players are a plus I hate people who consistently rush banana… wait i do this… hmphs
