Hey. I just figured I’d stop by and inform you of a popular total conversion mod. It’s called GoldenEye Source and it’s very similar to Goldeneye 64. You can find it at the following link. http://goldeneyesource.net/. To play the game, you simply need to have bought any source based game in the past. Looks pretty cool, tried to download it but their client version link is broken, but yeah. I can see this being something that shows up more at LANs if it catches on

This mod has been out for a LONG time but the devs take forever to release updates and it dies pretty hard between releases.

Actually releases died out because the dev died out. The dude that wrote GE:S has been dead for a couple years now and the mod has been pretty much frozen since then. It’s still a really fun game assuming it’s compatible with orangebox.

i’ve been playing the earlier releases for a while now, but I hope they put in most of the original weapons by now, they didn’t have a lot of em in the earlier releases.
