Anybody interested in joining some Gamebattles ladders or CAL Leagues or whatever else is available?
I’m down for a number of games:
Halo 3
Gears of War
Rainbow 6: Vegas
Shadowrun
Call of Duty 4
Guitar Hero 3
All of which I know there is a ladder for Gamebattles. Haven’t been to CAL in forever to know what they’re doing.
Current Total Count for GameBattles teams:
Halo 3: 4
Gears of War: 3
Call of Duty 4: 2

Being that we have enough people for a team on Halo, we need to figure out if there’s a general time we can all be on to accept and request challenges. Not to mention, I’d like for everyone to be comfortable with the gametypes and the changes to the maps they use.
I’m down for COD4 on console and Halo 3. Gears I’m workin on right now still aint that good. What is gamebattle and CAL?
Gamebattles – http://www.gamebattles.com
Online Clan Ladders in numerous competitive games across a lot of consoles. They do have some cash prize tournaments. However, those tournaments are reserved for the top X number of teams of the game’s ladder for a season. MLG endorses Gamebattles, and uses it for their playoff seeding for their live circuit events too. Cutoff for registration for their first live event is Feb 3rd, but I’m not worried about it. I’d rather wait.
And CAL – Cyberathlete Amateur League. http://www.caleague.com
This is a subdivision of CPL – You guessed it, the professional league.
The only console game they have listed is Halo 3.
Well, once I get at least 4 definites (including me) I’ll go ahead and start the team(s) for Gamebattles. Should probably at least “practice” and get familiar with the rules for each one. We’ll need a name as well, and I have a few ideas, but I’m open to whatever.
