Am glad. Just trying to find some good maps to take to MasterP for possible inclusion to the rotation. I dunno how I felt about either of them. The first is definitely out. The second is iffy.
poopy…i like the first – but i played i think 2 rounds – so didn’t get a real feel for it. Didn’t see the second at all.
None of these are in rotation at all. Its just testing.
I would like to try the fort one with a full server though. I bet its hellaciously fun.we adding some maps into the rotation? sweet, the rotation was starting to get a little stale…
add chateau, russka (with fixed spawn points) and havana pwease? i offer buttsex in return… : (
we should seriously consider adding paris_opt… it plays a lot like dust2 and people tend to love it… check it out and say what you think

plus everyone will get good fps on it so people wont complain about the map being too intensive
Just a comment: We have tried bringing tides, havana, chateau, and russka back before – and they all kill the server – as in everyone just leaves. The maps are good, but only a few people truly like to play them.
Trying new maps is great. The Paris one looks fun, and I hope to see the fort one as well soon.
The only problem with new maps is that people suck and run away from them, without even giving them a chance. We will see, but I think they need to be tried out when the server is full, and hopefully people will stick around. Maybe give them an announcement (with vote) saying that we will be going to a new map for the server or something.

also 2fort2 is ok for mebbe 10 minutes with standard weapons.. pistols only blows though
server crashed with it running yesterday.. don’t know if that was because of the map or w/e
I didn’t really care for the 2_fort_2 map, but if the community likes it well…
Also, I never rememered Chateau clearing out the server either but maybe I’m just biased
because I quite like the map.
Anyways if the 2_fort_2 map is going to be kept, IMO it should be with regular weapons. No
pistols only please!
I must clarify. I love chateau. However, I think I recall chateau getting back into the rotation last winter or spring. It was on the rotation for about a month, and then was pulled. It was put on at the same time that that changing-hostie map was on. Can’t remember the name of it – its a dark map, and hosties can be rescued in like 20 seconds if the walls are right. Anyway, I think that chateau was put in the rotation and then pulled for lack of interest.
I could be wrong, and it might be worth having in the rotation.
Also – bring Corse back! HA!
