Saw something about flyers so decided to throw a quick on together, it could be a general recruitment flyer. Still needs some work such as fix the lettering around the logos find a better pic of earth telecommunication thingy, throw the website on there find a better representation for pc then my frankenstein WinMac logo ect.
If anyone has any other ideas let me know, have no job kinda and sit around bored, so bored i stopped playing wow lol (well except for raiding)
Please let derrick help. He has some good ideas for fliers. He can help if you move the topic to like a public discussion
Maybe we need a new forum for just flyers
Keys to a successful flyer:
– MUST INCLUDE club’s name and website address
– Use only high-res pictures
– Font/color consistency
– in general, light colored backgrounds are easier on the eyes and easier to read if you print black & white versions/copies
Also I would use the PS3 logo (not the whole name spelled out), and the Games for Windows logo for PCs
Yeah I agree we should open this to the general public, maybe get some amazing designs and ideas from people like Derrick or others. Just a note on the design posted: too much color and contrasting colors. The background is way too colorful for everything else! Plus remember we have to print these @_@
Right now, a flier advertising the first meeting is more valuable than a general flier, though both would be nice.
All in all it was literally a 2min throw together, plus regardless of whats on is on the flyer its 0.15 per copy color
Thor would you have an issue with me moving this to a different forum. Maybe the private forum so derrick can help?

Let me know when said certain other club becomes a “club”. Also, if they copy them, I’ll make sure they are taken down. Not the flyers, them in general.
Those fliers are sweet. Now, there are a few changes that need to be made, but they’re mostly just nitpicking.
I hate to be repetitive, but I want to see an advertisment for the first meeting, not just LAN events.

I think it has relevance to a certain other group of gamers who call themselves a “club” or “association” if you will, and their potential for stealing the flyers. However that’s just an assumption. I wouldn’t worry too much. I made them, Adam is responsible for the original concept, they have no right or permission to use them, and if they try, it will result horribly for them.

After giving them another look, I think that any of them can easily be altered into a meeting flier. Nice.

They can be. I have the raw PSD with all layers intact. Just tell me what you need and I can do it no problem. I kept the PSD simply to theme the flier for different games in the future, but making it into a meeting flier would work too.
