some one needs to fix the freaking laggy as hell 1.6 server or feed the mice that are powering it its unplayable as is
I am sure the council leader will see this and help out. You are right, it has been set aside and needs to have some work done .
stepping in to pitch my $0.02… AJ has brought it to light that the entire uni’s bandwidth is getting choked up at times. That may be an issue resulting in some or all of the lag, possibly denoted by internal users being loverly and external users getting second-rate service. That one is out of our hands. Also, there may be server maintenance occuring, denoted by great ping times but choppy gameplay. That one would only be temporary as we are preparing mega maintenance during our spring break. That one may be in our hands, but we opt to have the poison now to stave off disaster later. If your lag is from other issues, then your CL will probably look into them.
This is an issue that is outside of the Gaming Club’s hands. Unfortunately for off campus players, WCU is exceeding the bandwidth limits on the NCREN external firewall. This chokes up everyone who is off campus playing. Also, since on campus players do not have to go outside the firewall to see Tron, they are virtually unaffected. I jumped on to play F.E.A.R. the other day and pinged 3000 on an East Coast server. We are all feeling the pain, but all we can do is wait on the powers that be above the club to get us some more “race horses.”
Its just one of those things that happen. We try to keep the server as up to date as possible to prevent those things from happening.

, finally found it. but it is getting worse by the day in my opinion. Like I read in the other thread, just switch to admin mod if you have to, I mean we can switch whoever we like and such then. Maybe even have someone who programs try to make ptb compatible for adminmod. It’s worth a try right?aznjun said:

It’s worth a try right?I dunno about PTB although at times (like those of serious lag) i find it clunkers out, but given about 10 mins it usually picks back up and starts working again. It is very resilient as for admin i dunno

1/2 of the problem is because when you play on a server with 32 people rushing door and seem 1/2 organized your computer doesnt process everything as fast as you would like it. Go play on a lan computer center, then tell me if you have the issue.
smoke grenades is a personal thing for every computer. as long as people don’t spam them, the servers fine. I love them as decoys, they’re perfect. and no, they aren’t action figures, they’re barbies, I agree with v. and I do believe that ds’s avatar is a neopet if I’m correct…lol I used to do that in 10th grade
My girls computer would still lag, mine, not so much. I need a new video card. Anyways…. I still get it its intermittent depending on whats going on in the background.

Therefore my ghost dog with red eyes is cool despite it being a neopet or pokemon spinoff or what have you! Haha
